"Kyla?" Someone shakes my arm. I groan and roll over. Light shines right in my face and I move my head, so that I'm looking down at the floor.
"Kyla, wake up, or you'll end up wearing the eggs Drake is going to make for breakfast." Someone warns. I sigh, but open my eyes and flip over. Talia is sitting beside the arm the was shaken. Michael is holding up a flashlight, aimed at my face, though he just turned it off. Logan is standing over me, holding an egg. Dylan is standing back, holding the carton of eggs for Logan. Tyson and Drake are by the door, watching amusedly.
"Wakey, wakey, eggs and more eggs!" Michael exclaims.
"What is so important that you must wake me up and why are we in the living room?" I ask, just noticing that I fell asleep on the living room floor.
"School and we all fell asleep in here. Remember our great movie night?" Tyson looks extremely amused right now.
"Right..." I nod, slowly. I get up and walk back to my room. Talia following behind me.
"I went and got clothes from my house, got back just in time to help wake you up, but I didn't have time to change." She tells me. I look down at her hands, to see her carrying some clothes.
"Want to change in my bathroom?" I ask, raising an eyebrow.
"That'll work." She nods, speeding up so she's strutting in front of me. I laugh, shaking my head as she goes.
I follow Talia into my room, she goes straight to my bathroom and I stop by my closet. I grab out my grey sweatshirt that hangs off the shoulder a tad bit, my black skinny jeans that have two holes on one knee and one on the other. I slip into my converse and grab the Calvin Klein bag. I slip back into my room to see Talia waiting for me, wearing a very light green shirt with a light pink sea shell on the front, bearing the words, 'Take Me To The Beach' and 'South Hampton' below. She has on white skinny jeans with a hole on each knee, paired with light pink platform pumps to match the shell. Her hair lays in perfect waves around her shoulders. I hurry past her and into my bathroom, plugging in my straightener and brushing through my hair. I put on some mascara, eye liner and lip gloss, before straightening my hair.
"Ready to go? I smell the food!" She says, a smile covering her glossed lips. It looks as if she borrowed some of my make-up.
"Those last four words are my all time favorite." I say, a smile covering my face. I head for the door, Talia trailing behind me this time. I make my way to the kitchen where it is madness. Bacon and eggs are being fought over.
"Here is some mac 'n cheese for you, with a side of eggs." Drake hands my my plate as I pass by him to go to the table. The only meal I don't fight to the death for food with my brothers is breakfast.
"Thank you!" I call over my shoulder, ducking as a piece of bacon flies my way.
"Aye, don't waste food!" Tyson tells them, though the smile on his face makes it clear he couldn't really care less.
"Some eggs and bacon for you." Drake hands Talia a plate, once they're clear of the flying bacon.
"Hey! Anyone who says 'when pigs fly' should now find a new phrase, because I just saw a flying pig." I announce as I take my seat at the table. Michael smirks at me, while the others chuckle, telling me Michael sent the flying pig my way. Talia slips into Bryan's old seat, not looking at anyone.
"Sorry about the craze of breakfast. I think you've witnessed some fights of the food before." Tyson tries, and fails, to hide his smile as he apologizes to her.
"Do you guys ever have a normal meal?" She asks, causing all eating and food fighting to stop. Anything anyone was holding instantly drops out of their hands and all eyes are now on her, smiles vanished. She looks up, confused and looks between us all, trying to understand what just happened.
