"Nicole." A voice says from behind me. I turn around to see Talia running up to me.
"Yeah?" I ask when she catches up to me.
"Sorry about Thomas."
"Don't worry about it. I ended up over at the triplet's house." I say as we continue walking towards the school.
"Lucas, Justin, and Jordan? The football players? Like Lucas who always flirts with you? Those triplets?" She asks with raised eyebrows.
"Are there any other triplets?" I ask sarcastically, before adding, "and Lucas doesn't flirt with me."
"Mhm and I'm a magical unicorn."
"Really?!?! That is so cool." I reply back sarcastically.
"So why were you with the Cooper triplets?" She asks curiously.
"Well your brother oh-so-nicely asked me to leave your house so, since I was in such great terms with my brothers I decided to take a walk. Lucas decided to drive past my house to get to his, which caused him to drive past me, except he didn't, he stopped and told me that being killed by my wonderful brothers just wasn't on the top of his to-do list so he decided to force me on the bike and to his house." I reply, partially sarcastic and partially serious. The bell rings signaling time to get to class so we're not late. We separate our own ways and head to class before she can reply.

"You have got to be kidding me!" Alex shouts and storms off out of the cafeteria. I just sat down and was about to steal some of Connor's food, now I'm confused. I look around at all of my friends, minus Alex of course, who all look worried and sad, even Thomas! He has feelings? When did those develop? The whole cafeteria goes silent which causes me to look at the door. All four of my brothers walk in, shooting glares at Lucas, walking towards their table. Oh joy, so much drama at once!
"Excuse me." I state getting up right before Connor, I shoot him a confused look but he just shrugs. We walk over there together just in time for Michael to grab onto Lucas' collar.
"How many times do I have to say this? Stay away from her. I swear on everything that I own, if you hurt her I will make absolutely certain you regret it. I will be your worst nightmare. Whatever you did with her Saturday night will be the end of whatever you two have." Michael threatens in his quiet mad voice. I swear it's a hundred times more scary. Logan, Dylan, and Bryan are all still standing there, just glaring at Lucas. Layla is trying to get Bryan's attention while Courtney is trying to get Dylan's. Isabella is waiting for Logan to notice her while Kasey is looking at Michael scared. Oh the wonderful life of having over protective brothers.
"Michael." I warn lowly, letting him know I'm here. They all turn towards me but still keep their glares. Yesterday I avoided them knowing they'd be mad. I mean I get why they're mad at me, they didn't even do anything wrong, I'm just tired of pretending that all's well. All four girls are glaring right along with their boyfriends.
"Kyla, do not come over here acting like anything is our fault." Logan warns looking at me with his glare but I can tell he's trying to calm himself down.
"Then don't come over here threatening my friend. Last time I checked, I can do whatever I want. You don't control me! Tyson and Drake even know not to try to control me, they set boundaries, that's all. You guys don't even get to do that! So what if you're older than me! You'll be gone next year anyway!" I say, my voice rising the more I talk. Everyone is still looking at us and I hate it, but I don't care.
"You'll be gone in two years." Dylan says trying to keep his glare. We've all avoided the whole fact that they're graduating and leaving at the end of this year. Nobody wants to talk about it but it's a fact. They're trying to control my life when they're going to be gone before you know it.
