Chapter 11

"So what happened with Alex?" I ask Talia laying out on her bed beside her.

"Abigail, Connor's girlfriend, has gotten really close with Adam, Alex's boyfriend." She states.

"So he cheated on her with Connor's girlfriend?" I ask incredulously.

"Basically." Talia says quietly.

"Does Connor know?" I ask worriedly.

"Probably not. Last time I checked they were still together." She says simply.

"Why hasn't anyone told him yet?" I ask jumping up.

"Nicole, calm down. Connor is too good for Abigail. None of us ever liked her. I'm going to have fun with this, he'll find out soon enough. I just want to torture her first." Talia says motioning for me to lay back down. I do so hesitantly.

"You won't go on too long, right?" I ask worriedly.

"Dude, I care about him too. He's one of my best friends. No way am I letting him date her for any longer than needed, but we can't tell him. She needs to. Even Adam or Alex would be better than us." She says honestly.

"Okay." I agree. "He'll find out soon enough."

"Thank you. Now what happened at football practice?" She asks while wiggling her eyebrows. I shake my head and push her shoulder.

"How was hanging out with neighbor girl?" Tyson asks when I walk through the door.

"Awesome." I say shortly, walking past him and walking up the stairs, into my room. I slam the door on my way. I plop down on my bed and get on my phone. Talia added me to a group chat with her, Thomas, his girlfriend, Alex, and Connor. Connor's girlfriend is also in the group but Talia assured me that she'll be out soon. She also said Alex's ex-boyfriend is in there since Alex agreed with Talia's plan.

Talia: I'm not talking about that!

Connor: You're confusing.

Abby: Connor, come over?

Alex: Aren't you busy, Abby?

Abby: No?

Adam: Al, stop.

Alex: Don't call me that!

Cece: What's going on?

Talia: EVERYONE SHUT UP!

Thomas: What's Alex's problem?

Alex: Nothing....

Connor: I can't come over, babe. Parents put me on house arrest until my grades are up.

Abby: Fine...

Talia: Hey Adam, you busy?

Adam: Nope.

Alex: Of course not.

Okay, well that was dramatic.

Connor: Tal, is Nicole still with you?

Talia: Nope, she left a little while ago.

Alex: Did you add her?

Talia: Yep.

Alex: NICOLEEEEE I NEEDDDDD YOUUUU!

Nicole: You okay, Alex?

Alex: You should come over. You always go to Talia's house, it's not fair!
