Rey's POV - -
"Rey I'm sorry. This is all my fault."
"You have failed me Kylo Ren, for the last time." Snoke's hand came up and he crushed Ben. He laid lifeless before me. " It's not your fault Ben. It's mine." It's mine. It's mine. My fault. All of this.
I woke up in a dark room. I saw Finn sitting in a chair to my right. The only side of the room I could see. "He is dead because of me. It's all my fault I deserve to die... I deserve to die. " I thought to myself. " my saber. Where is it?" I looked over at the table by Finn. There is Luke's. Where's mine? I lifted my hand causing pain to shoot all over. The lightsaber came into my hand. I ignited it holding it above my neck.
" I'm sorry Ben, " I said aloud, but quietly, " this is all my fault. It's because of me you are dead. I caused you this much pain. I'm so sorry Ben. When I see you again. Please. Please forgive me. I love you." I breathed in holding the saber over to my left, so I could just do it in one fare swoop. I closed my eyes releasing gathered tears down my face. "I'm sorry. "
The lightsaber flew from my hands into the dark side of the room where I couldn't see.
Ben stepped into the light. I looked at him.
"Ben. I... I thought you were dead."
"No." He walked over to me. I sat up and hugged him. He embraced me. Pulling me in deeper.
"Ben, I love you. The thought that you died for me just killed me."
"Even if I did, I would want you to have the life that I died for, not to kill yourself to be with me."
"I'm sorry. " I lowered my head.
"Don't be." He grabbed my chin and lifted my head up and kissed me. Tears started falling down my face once again.
