Chapter 29: The Release

Finn's POV - - -

I came upon the planet. This weird unknown planet. It was dark and... well...dark. Rey was on that planet. I know it. I saw him take her. I ran after her when she first went outside. I followed his ship. Tracked it to this planet. She on it. I don't have a plan but I will get her out.

I landed on an empty landing bay. No one was here. Just Ren's ship. I walked off my ship and into the area. I saw him. Kylo. He was coming out of a hallway. Maybe Rey was down there.
He stopped. I hid.

Kylo's POV - -

I stopped. I felt something. FN. He is here. I will prepare the Knights. I walked off. I'll let him believe he will escape. No one can get off this planet unless permitted. I walked in an uncovered hallway. Most were like this. It was raining. I walked among the many knights waiting for orders.

"We have an intruder her for the girl . Kill him at any cost." They all got up and left. No words from any of them. As usual.

Rey's POV - - -

I sat in my cell awaiting my meeting with Snoke. I heard footsteps. It's time. Fear hit me. I heard banging. Then a gun shot. The cell door opened. Finn.

" Rey, come on we don't have much time. "

He handed me a bundle. I pulled the cloth away. My saber.

"Finn, thank you, but you shouldn't have come. They will catch us and you will be killed."

"Optimistic much?" We started running down the hallways. There were so many.

" Finn, how are we going to make it out of here?"

"You sound like you want to be here."

"No, not with the monsters that inhabit this place."

"Good, it's a good thing I'm here." We continued to run. I saw rain. An uncovered hall way was approaching. There it was the landing bay up ahead at the end of the hallway. Finn fell behind.

"Keep running Rey, leave me if you have to." I stopped and turned around. A guard was attacking him. Another more came up. He came at me. I fell back. Finn tried to help but was pushed behind me. He stood in front of me with his weapon above his head ready to kill.

A red beam came through him. Kylo. The body fell at his feet. I got up a d started back up when he came at me.

"Run."he said.

"What? "

"Rey, Run!"

I turned to run with Finn. I stopped.

"Why?"

"Rey, just run. "

"You will die." I walked up to him." You may not feel the same as me. But I can't let you die." I put my hand on his chest.

He grabbed my arm.

"Run! Now! " more me. Came from. Behind him.

I ran. Tears running down my face.
I heard him in my head. "I lied Rey."

I got on the ship. With his words in my head. He let me go. He sacrificed his own life for me. He lied.
