The Faces of a Revolution

"Our line up is complete! Multiple Android Stories that I think is compelling enough to reach out to out people. Enough to reach out to people to stop their Abuse! We already have proved that we can hack through the Television Networks and we can broadcast them as soon as we're done filming!" Neil said

Androids applauded and some were even crying tears of joy. I was just there, sitting, thinking of the possible consequences of this whole thing. Most humans already have an abusive and violent connection to Androids

If this was presented to humans in a bad way, it could probably worsen our situation, leading to more cases of abuse, violence and even Android deaths. But maybe I'm wrong, maybe we actually have a chance to be free

After Neil's announcement, We all continued eating. While we were eating, I can definitely see almost everyone here has a smile on their faces. After eating, Hazel and I helped collect the dirty plates and helped in cleaning them

We also helped clean the tables. After that, we went to the bedroom, We said our goodnights to each other and we went to our own beds. Bed that I was assigned in already had someone sleeping in the lower deck of the bed, so I went to the upper deck of the bed

I lied down on the bed and I thought of what would happen tomorrow, Although this is supposed to be a good thing, I keep thinking of the bad things but the thought of freedom calms me down. After a few minutes, I finally slept

I woke up early. It was just five in the morning. Most Androids were still asleep but some are already awake and out of their bed. I looked for Hazel and Nathan but they're not in their beds. This is not surprising from Hazel even if we just spent one day together, She really wants to help this community

I went out to find either Nathan or Hazel. After just a few minutes of looking, I already found Nathan but he is busy with Neil building what I think is supposed to be a Green screen for the filming later

Then I thought of looking for Hazel in the rooftop, possibly looking at the sunrise. But when I got there, nobody was at the rooftop then the next thing I thought was possible work places. I looked at the Kitchen, the Bathroom and even the Supply Room

Then I went to the Greenhouse and there she was. At this early in the morning, she already had harvested the crops, planted some seeds and is currently watering them

"Hey there Early Birdie!" I said to Hazel

"Good Morning Late Birdie! But I guess considering how many Androids are still asleep at this point, You're pretty early" She said while smiling

"So, what are you doing?" I asked

"Isn't it obvious? I'm obviously cooking. Just kidding! Of course I'm tending the garden" She said then she laughed

"So, Should I help you and the other farmers?" I said

"No need. Besides, there are no more extra tools left to use. Also, we're almost done here, You should just wait outside" Hazel said

I went outside the greenhouse. Everyone else was busy with the set and I don't think they need me there also, I think that I'd probably just mess it up if I tried to help. I didn't belong anywhere, So I just went up to the rooftop

I went there and gazed at the sky, It had a mixture of both light and darkness with the golden yellow star creeping up and pushing out the darkness turning the black sky to an orange-yellow sky plus the white clouds that pop up because of the colors, you can just feel the texture of them by just looking at them. It was the first time I saw the sun rise. It was beautiful. No wonder Hazel likes being here. I look down below from the rooftop and I see Hazel and Nathan waving, signaling me to come down. I went down from the roof top.

"Neil said that we'll have to start filming now" Nathan said

We all went to the green screens that Neil and Nathan assembled earlier. Everyone was told to be there. They were just standing around the set. Meanwhile, Neil was fixing the Camera and something on his Laptop

"Alright! I have high hopes for this! Let's start with Shawn because he is the one that I think that we really have a good chance with, because we have proof and evidence to counter his accusation" Neil said

Nathan pushed me off to the center of the set then he crossed him arms and grinned. Everyone was there, looking at me. I was nervous that I would screw everything up. I was just there standing in the middle then Neil came up to me

"Don't worry about anything, just be yourself. Just tell us your Story" He said then he smiled

Neil left and went back to the Camera. I took a deep breath and calmed myself down then, I started to tell them everything that I could remember, starting from the moment that I finished washing the dishes that fateful night to when I slept in an alleyway

After I told my story, everyone was quiet then Neil clapped and then Nathan soon followed then eventually everyone was clapping and I was still just there in the middle, It was incredibly awkward, I didn't know what to do at the time

Then I went back to the crowd. Neil then called Hazel to go in front. When I thought about it, I haven't known what was Hazel's story. Then there she is, the small fourteen year old, in front of the glaring lights, standing so confidently. The girl definitely has a story yet to be told.

"I was bought by an average couple. They bought me in memory of their recently deceased daughter whom they said, was my same age and looks like me. The woman was the breadwinner in the couple and every time she went to work, the husband rapes me and sometimes, he even invites his friends to join him. I was helpless. I was disgusted with my owners and even with myself. This went on for a year until his wife found out what he has been doing. They got into a fight and then they got divorced. After their divorce, the man took me with him. He was jobless. he often drunk and high and he continues to abuse me physically and sexually. Then one day, he was caught using drugs and he was imprisoned and I was left behind. After that, I was just in the streets then Neil found me. Well, that's my story" Hazel said while she was on the verge of tears

She went back here and everyone was just quiet. No one said a single word. After that, Neil called someone then Hazel came up to me and cried on my shoulders

"It hurts inside when I try to remember it" Hazel said quietly

I hugged and comforted her. Then she eventually stopped crying. It was quite awhile, Neil called about seven more Androids with stories about their pasts.
