Exiled From The World

Hungry wolves. That's what they were like. Vicious wolves looking over their prey. I didn't know what to do. They were tightening their fists with the batons inside them. I tried to look for other ways out of this mess. They started to walk towards me, so I went inside one of the cubicles again. 

I locked the door and leaned on it. They started running and as they reached my cubicle, they started banging and kicking it. I  threw everything on the floor; the soap, shampoos and lotions, I let them all get spilled in the tiled floor. I also opened every water source, hoping that all these things would slip them or slow them at least when they get in.

I pulled off a metal pipe that connects to the shower head and I prepared my self once they break in; in the process of removing the pipe, the water has started to overflow on the floor. I hid beside the door and prepared myself mentally and physically. After a few moments, they kicked the door open and barged in.

One of them slipped off and hit the hard and cold ground, while the knocked the other one off with a swing of the metal pipe that I pulled off earlier. As they were recovering, I took the chance and ran off. I then blocked the doors of the shower rooms by sliding in the pipe on the handle bars.

I made my way to the bedrooms upstairs stealthily as not to attract attention, because after the events that happened, I told myself to forget everything I once knew, I don't even know who to trust anymore. As I entered the room, I immediately took any clothes that I could find, which was Neil's black hoodie and slim fit jeans.

After I finished dressing up, I went to Nathan to tell him about my two perpetrators. Just before I called out his name, I saw him prepare handcuff and a rope, he then cocked a handgun. I thought that he prepared those things for those two, but how could he know that there were people who attacked me before I told him? That's when I realized that those things were not for my perpetrators, those were for me.

I ran off before he could have the chance to see me. I went to talk to Hazel, as she's one of the few people left who I trust. I found her washing the dishes in the kitchen

"Hazel! We have to go!" I said to her with urgency

"What?! Why?!" Hazel said as she got startled

"I'll explain later, but we have to escape. Now!" I shouted to her face

"Alright, but let's get Clark and the Twins first" She said

We rush to find where Clark and the twins were. We found the twins outside playing in the snow. We pulled them by their arms and started running to find Clark

"Wait! Where are we going?!" Hugo asked.

"Somewhere safe!" I shouted.

"But aren't we already safe here?" Kurt asked.

"If we are safe here, then we wouldn't we running away from it, would we?!" Hazel shouted.

"I'll explain later, just come with us." I said to the twins.

We let go of the twins as they start running along with us. We stopped for a moment and talked about splitting up. Within ten minutes, if we still couldn't find Clark, we meet up at the gate and leave without him.

The first place I looked was the back room in the storage room. Just in case that Nathan, who I assumed, locked him up there again. Thankfully, nobody was there. But just before I went out of the room, somebody locked the door from the outside

"Hey! Shawn's here!" I heard somebody shout from outside

They're coming for me. I shouldn't have came here in the first place! Now I'll be either be used by Nathan as a weapon of death or I'll forever be tortured and tormented. I bang and kick on the door as I helplessly try to escape. But all my efforts have been useless. It seems that they blocked the door with something hard, similar to what I had done earlier.

I sat on the corner as I accept my fate, but a ray of hope shined on me. Literally! a ray of light coming from a small hole caught my eye, which means that this wooden wall is the only thing from keeping me from outside. 

I lock the inner door, to buy me some time before they catch up to me. I kick the wall, giving it my all. I heard that they are already in, past the outer door and crawling through the small hallway. My kicks weren't damaging enough, so I use my shoulders to give a wider and stronger impact. 

They eventually got past the hallway and is now banging the inner door. I could hear them trying to turn the knob, but they stopped. I thought they went to get keys, so I eased up a little bit, but then they started shooting the door, which prompted me to hit the wall harder.

My shoulders are hurting, I'm getting tired and they're almost here. The situation is getting more and more dire with each passing second. Just before I was about to give up, the wall finally collapsed; I fell into the ground along with the wall. They finally got the door and kicked it open.

I got up and started sprinting to the gate as they started shooting at me. I saw from the other side that Hazel and the twins, including Clark, were also being chased. We were almost past the gate, but unexpectedly, Clark got shot in the leg. He fell down to the ground.

"Clark! I'm coming to get you!" I said as I stopped running

But just before I could go back to Clark, Hugo starts going back for Clark. As he went down to help Clark to stand up, he was shot in his neck with a paralyzing and tranquilizing agent. Hugo was rendered immobile.

"Go! We'll find a way to follow you!" Clark shouted

Kurt tried to run back despite that he hasn't completely adapted to his prosthetic leg. I hesitated to follow but Hazel held me in the shoulder and stopped me from doing so. But I did follow to get Kurt. Hazel and I pulled him as we ran off to get out. Kurt was screaming and squirming the whole time, but we managed to get a hold of him.

Just before we completely got away from the complex, we saw Hugo and Clark, being brought and carried by the other androids back to the warehouse, while Nathan stands still in front of everybody. We share one last eye contact, just before we disappear into the forest.
