Everyone was confused. Everyone was afraid and in the silence, I could hear minor gasps and everyone's synthetic heart beating. Neil went down to check the breakers. After a few minutes in silence, Neil comes back and dismisses everyone
"What was that?" a random man said
"Did they find us?" a random woman fearfully said with her hand on her chest
"The power went down throughout the whole city so I doubt that they found us" Neil said
"But why did they do that?" Nathan asked
"They probably did that so that they could reroute their television networks to avoid our signals" Neil said
"So what should we do now?" Hazel said
"Well, we'll just have to continue what we do everyday and hope for the best" Neil said
There was once again a moment of silence then Neil himself breaks it
"Come on guys, what's the worst that could happen? and if it did happen, we'll face it together" Neil said enthusiastically
Everyone started to stand up one by one and started to continue their daily schedules. Hazel, Clark and I helped with cleaning up the dining hall. As I bring some plates to the kitchen I see Nathan having an argument with Neil
"We should have someone guard there since we don't know what really happened" Nathan said
"We don't need someone to guard there, the people in the greenhouse would probably need more man power since it's time to harvest the plants"Neil said
Nathan releases a sigh then he just walks away. After staring at Nathan walk away, Neil looks up to the ceiling and releases a sigh, He looks at me then he goes towards me to pat me at the back then proceeds to follow Nathan
I brought the dishes to the kitchen and told what just happened to Hazel and Clark who was washing the dishes. After that, we temporarily separated ways, as Clark was assigned to clean the bedroom, Hazel was assigned to help in the greenhouse while I was assigned to sweep the whole outer area of the warehouse
There was not much leaves on the ground today as fall is coming to an end and winter is coming. I can definitely feel the temperature outside getting more colder as the days pass by and I can see what seems to be clouds that are supposed to carry snow
Time pass by and it's eventually time for lunch. Lunch came and there is still no electricity. We finished Lunch and we continued our schedules. Hazel was assigned to arrange and manage the new supplies, Clark was given some time to rest while I continued to clean the surroundings
It was particularly boring as nothing much happened although I got pretty annoyed as some few birds dropped their waste exactly at my right hand. I got to wash it off then I continued doing my stuff again
I was sweeping some leaves and some more garbage at the front of the warehouse then suddenly, I heard someone calling for help, I left my broom and I rushed towards the sound which was from outside the gate
There were two androids who are based from fourteen year old boys. They look almost identical. They had messy blonde hair, they both had ocean blue eyes and fair skin. They look severely injured, they had large gaping wounds and multiple bruises, they had tattered clothes while one of them had a bleeding and what seems to be a freshly amputated leg that is covered by an obviously wet brown paper bag
"We won't harm you, Please help us" said the boy who was carrying his amputated friend
I quickly opened the gates and I let them inside. I carried the boy with an amputated leg and I screamed out for help. Nathan was first to rush to the scene and helped the other boy then other people came to help us
We brought the two boys at a small medical room. I laid the boy with the amputated leg on the small bed while the other boy sat down on the corner since the room didn't have a chair. Hazel came in rushing with some first aid supplies and she gave them to Neil
Neil removed the paper bag and we see the leg completely cut off, we see the synthetic muscles, some pathways for the "blood" to go through and we see the white liquid that acts as our blood, spurting out, which is very rare as you have hit specific pathways to let it out
Neil douses the boy's leg with medical alcohol as he screams out in pain then Neil bandaged him all up. After he was bandaged up, Neil stitches the other boy's arm and bandages him. After both of them calmed down, we started asking questions
"Who are you guys? and what happened to you?" Nathan asked
"I'm Kurt and he's Hugo" said the Amputated boy
"Kurt and I are those exclusive limited edition sixth edition twin androids, we we're bought by a lovely couple who couldn't make an offspring. It was all fine until the last few months when they eventually managed to make a human offspring. They started treating us like animals and slaves. Then the other day, the videos started airing. They got scared for their baby and for themselves, thinking that we would hurt them. They became even more colder to us than before. Then a few hours ago, they snapped when the lights went out, they really were scared of us, they made a move on us and tried to kill us. In an attempt to keep us, they tried to kill us. As we were about to escape, our owner threw an axe at us, I didn't get hit but Kurt got hit at his legs, I had no choice at the time but to fully chop off his legs. We ought to hide here temporarily at these abandoned warehouses but It turns out that it is not abandoned after all" Hugo said
"So you mean that those videos actually had an impact on humans?!" Hazel said
"Well yeah, It definitely made them more paranoid" Kurt said
"Well, you two should stay here. Although it's small, It's a nice place to hide in for awhile" Neil said
"Thank you very much" The two said at the same time
The two seemed very happy to stay while us adults look at one another. I assume we all thought of the same thing, we thought that this is not right, that this is not what we have expected from everything that we have done.

I'm really sorry guys for the delay! I was sick last week and I couldn't write a single word so I wasn't able to upload a new chapter last Friday. I will also remove the Monday upload slot because I can't write two chapters a week, since school is getting harder with more projects and I can't stay up that late at night any more and also since I've been frequently getting writer's block at this part of the story, so I'm sorry about that. But I have been thinking if I should just move the Monday upload to Wednesday or something, I don't know, so tell me if I should move the upload schedule or I should just upload on Friday, please do tell me in the comment section below.
