Igniting Sparks

Neil was somehow dumbstruck because of the weight of the situation. He was just standing there, ever so slightly moving. Everyone was quiet, waiting for a response or a sign. Nathan walked up to him and shook him off

"What?" Neil confusingly said

"What happened to you?" Nathan asked

"Oh it's nothing, I just kinda blacked out there for a few moments" Neil replied

"Well, what do we now?" Nathan said

"We continue what we do. I doubt that this will have a major effect on us" Neil said

"That's it?" Nathan said

"We survived and thrived here for two years, multiple uprisings have started and gone by, we stayed here together, not interfering with anything outside, this time we'll do the same" Neil said with a resonant voice

I could see that Nathan was baffled just in his face from what Neil just said. I looked around me and I could also see some other people confused. I could hear and see people whispering to one another while some are there with their mouths wide open.

After awhile everyone started to go back what they were doing. Neil rushed to his office with Nathan following him and explaining some things. Almost everybody left, the only people standing there are Me, Hazel and Clark.

We look at each other. Presumably thinking the same thing, we all ran to Neil's office. We ran upstairs then across the beds then we eventually reach his office. I hear some inaudible bickering from the inside of this office, so I knocked the office door, after several knocks, Nathan opens it. As the door opened, Clark moved back a little bit

"What's wrong?" Nathan asked

"It's nothing" Clark replied

Clark refused to go inside and decided that he would only listen to our conversation by the door. When Hazel and I got inside, I saw Neil at his desk with his hands on his forehead because of the stress

"What happened?" I asked Neil

"Well, Nathan here wants us to join the 'rebels' and help their cause" Neil said while doing quotation signs with his fingers

"It's what we wanted in the first place right?!" Nathan said

"Yes, but we wanted to achieve it in a way without involving violence" Neil said

"But this is the only way!" Nathan shouted

"No! We will not do this." Neil said as he stood up

"You're not thinking rationally right now" Nathan said then he left

Neil sat down and he massaged his forehead.

"What did Nathan want to do anyway?" Hazel said in curiosity

"He had this plan of sabotaging people and even hold-upping some people to make people change" Neil said

"But that wouldn't work" Hazel said

"That's what I said to him. It would only add more fear to the already paranoid humans" Neil said

Neil shook his head in disappointment. After a few minutes of silence, we left Neil alone in his office to think and we went on with our schedules. Clark went back to the kitchen to help make Lunch, Hazel went back to the infirmary to look after the twins while I just wandered around

I went to the rooftop of the warehouse. It was chilly there but at least it was peaceful and quiet there. The sky becomes more filled with clouds, leaving almost no space for the sunlight to creep through

I stood there for awhile as I try to find harmony in this problematic and confusing world. While I was up here, I thought of the total time that I have been alive. I've only experienced 2 Months but I theoretically have already experienced 6 months, but most of it is being inside a cryogenator

And in those 6 months, a lot has happened, lots of problems have popped up but has yet to be solved. And according to Neil, these things have never happened prior to my birth. I feel like, in the 6 months that I have existed, all I caused was problems

After a few minutes, I went down. I walked back inside to the infirmary. As I walk to the Infirmary, I see Nathan with some other Androids, they're about 7 or 8 and they're occupying one whole table and they see to be talking about something

I eventually got to the Infirmary. The Hazel and the Twins are asleep. I sit beside Hazel. She got startled a little bit and woke up then looked at her surroundings and when she saw that it was just me, she laid her head in my lap and went back to sleep.

I put my hand on her hair and stroked it. I pondered about the things that are currently happening. I look around me and I immediately see who would be affected the most if in case we do get in an all out war with humans

We can't get anymore innocent lives involved with this. But on the contrary, If we don't do anything either, their lives will just be spent in fear, hardship and pain. No wonder why Neil doesn't agree with Nathan

And Neil also has to think about this on a way larger scale. Despite he is siding with us, he is still a Human, he has friends and family who will definitely be affected by this, also since Androids have a chance to overwhelm the humans, the human race's survival depends on his decision.

I shook my head off. I need to stop thinking about this too much. I sat there for about an hour, I didn't move, I didn't think of anything. Until Neil finally called us to eat lunch. Hazel woke up, she stood up and woke up the twins to eat

Hazel took a pair of crutches and gave it to Hugo while she told Kurt to stay there for awhile and that she'll just bring him food. The three of us go outside. We get our food and sit beside Clark in an empty table

We began eating while Hazel brought the food to Kurt. Clark somehow looks more bothered than ever, he doesn't even try to make eye contact with any of us. I seemingly have developed this reflex to look towards to where Neil is when Clark is like this. I usually find him in his table eating in one look, but this time, he isn't there nor Nathan was

Hazel comes back and starts to eat. After awhile, we finished eating then we returned the food trays. Clark went back to the kitchen to help wash the dishes, while Hazel and Hugo went back to the infirmary to watch over Kurt

While I decided that I would check up on Neil and give him my thoughts on what we are going to do. I walk upstairs to the bedroom. I walked past the beds and to Neil's office in the corner. I got to the front of the office, I knocked but Neil didn't open the door, he seems to be talking to someone on the phone. I leaned towards the door to listen

"Wait what?! No! run away! Go outside!" I hear Neil's shouts

"No! No! don't hang up! please! No!" Neil shouted

I let myself in as I am curious of what was the commotion about. When I came inside, I see Neil getting teary and angry at the same time, he looks incredibly troubled. His phone slowly slips from his hand until It fell, It bounced a few times before it settles in the hard ground.
