What Now?

From this distance and angle, I couldn't clearly see what they were shocked about. I went forward and went through the crowd of androids. Once I got to the front, the first thing I saw was Hazel. She had her hands on her mouth and was getting teary-eyed, I did not understand why until I looked up at the screen.

It was Neil on the news. He was being dragged by policemen. He was struggling, shouted things to the officers, trying to escape. I was speechless. I had my mouth open. I couldn't move and I was trembling with fear. I could feel my hands and legs shaking. The emotions were just overflowing.

I saw Hazel sobbing, she took a jacket and walked out of the the room to go outside. I went through the crowd and followed her. After I passed through the crowd, someone held me in my shoulders. I turned around to see that It was Nathan. He seemed relatively calm despite of all of this. He looked at me straight in my eyes then he shook his head

"Don't. Just give her some space and let her be for awhile." He said to me in a soft voice.

I looked down at my feet to think about it. I took me about a few seconds to think, but eventually I chose to follow and comfort her. I held Nathan's hand on my shoulders

"I'm sorry, but she's the type of person who would act tough and independent in times like these when she actually needs someone to comfort her." I said then I removed Nathan's hand from my shoulder

I ran off to follow Hazel. When I got outside, I couldn't find her. The road was cleared off of snow  and I couldn't see where she has gone to. I went inside the Greenhouse to look for her, but apparently she didn't go or hide there.

I went out and stood there for awhile, I kept thinking of where she went. She couldn't have gone out because the gate is still locked like the way I left it, then I remembered the place which she said was her favorite.

I went up to the roof top and my guess was right, she did go there. She was sitting on the corner where she cleaned up some of the snow so that she could sit. She had her legs tucked in with her hands and her face hidden behind her knees.

I walked up to her, ever so slowly as not to make as much noise. When I got near, I squatted down to brush away snow on the place where I would sit. She got her head up and she looked at me for a moment, but then she went back again and then she slammed her head once again into her knees. After I brushed off the nearby snow, I went to sit down beside her.

There were a few minutes of silence, but eventually I decided to break it.

"So... Do you want to talk?" I said to her then I shook her head a little bit

She held her head up and looked up to the sky. She got her hand out and she captured one snowflake in her hand and she looked at it. She sighed and then she looked at me with her beautiful Hazel brown eyes. She let out a long exhale then she looked down.

"Well, It just seems like Deja Vu. A Deja Vu of something awful." She said softly

"What do you mean by Deja Vu?" I asked her

"When I was left alone by my original owner in the streets after he got arrested, I met this Girl who was about a year younger than my age back then. She was also left behind by her parents. We had a lot of similarities, but our most striking differences were the way she looks and the fact that she is a Human." She said slowly

"And then?" I asked because she stopped for awhile

"She was beautiful. She had a dark black hair with some streaks of purple and green which was tied into a wavy pony tail. She had a usual Caucasian smooth skin. Her face was void of blemishes and imperfections. She was like the Barbie doll that I could only see in the windows of the stores" She said
