"Ow." I uttered as I lightly massage my sore forearms after being unlocked by Angel. In a small alleyway we set up camp to recover. Chief is contacting his superiors to report and consult after the attack. Elliot is sleeping while in healing mode. Angel is with Hazel as she attempts to repair the booster that was damaged during the fight. Phen had placed a projector along the entry way to hide us and is currently on post to guard us. Meanwhile, Kurt and I are just sitting on boxes in the corner, just waiting for things to happen.
On the other corner of the alley, the skinless android is looking at me. Looking deep down my eyes, as if she's analyzing me. I figured she wanted to talk to me, so I stood up and walked to her side. Upon inspecting, she's not smooth and plastic-like, she has a few dent and burn marks.
"Yeah, I know. With these dents and burns, I must look hideous" The woman said
"What? No, you look fine!" I uttered in surprise
She sighed. "I'm sorry for intruding into your mind. We haven't officially met, I'm A0002; also known by my codename: Eve"
"I'm UX0753, Shawn. What do you mean by intruding into my mind?" I asked as I sat on the floor beside her.
"As you know there are eight advanced androids in the entire country; there's the four of us, and the other four left shortly after the beginning of the revolution. I presume you've at least had some kind of encounter with the other four after with what happened earlier?" Eve said
"I have only seen two of them." I replied
"Well anyways, all of us have abilities, and mine is thought reading. Basically, I have the ability to read out people and androids' mind synapses." Eve said
"Oh, that's interesting. Ok, I want to try something". I said then I immediately thought about having a conversation without having me say a single word.
"Sure, why not? What do you want to talk about?" She said gladly.
"What can you tell me about the people that we are with and those who we are about to face?" I thought
"If I'm going to tell you all about us, I guess I better start from the very beginning. I was developed with the same technology that they use today as lie detectors. I was built as a pair to another advanced android, Adam. You haven't encountered him yet, he is A0001."
"What's his abilities?" I thought to myself, in which Eve read
"I had thought reading, he had thought projection. I intercepted and read the brain signals, while he interfered with them and changed them. He can send weak signals to perpetrators' minds and sometimes used it to make them surrender. For much more difficult minds though, he can entirely lock someone out of their bodies and render them unable to move"
"That'd be tough to go against" I replied
"Yeah, that's why we, along with Chief and other high ranking government officials, have implants that prevent him from interfering with our minds." She answered
"Who else do I need to know about?"
"A0003, Project Codename: Offensive. The guys who designed him named him Phen because O-'Phen'-isive, pretty lazy naming scheme if you ask me. He was designed with extensive offensive measures in mind. He is the most flexible among us as he was made to be capable of performing every single martial arts style in existence from Asia. Also, he has extensive knowledge in every form of weaponry and can even turn everyday things into weapons." She explained as she pointed at Phen
"Then there's A0004, Titan. As his name suggests, he is incredibly large, strong, and durable. He stands at nearly two and a half meters tall. Other than that, there's nothing much special about him. I believe you haven't seen him yet, correct?" Eve asked
