"Hey, what's wrong?" I asked Clark
"Oh, It's nothing. By the way, That's your leader right?" Clark said
"Yes, that is Neil Walkman" Hazel said
"I never got to the chance to meet him. Well, I never got the chance to meet him Formally and Personally" Clark said
"You know what? I'll introduce you later to him" I said and at the time, I was having suspicions about Neil
We continued eating dinner. We couldn't really talk much to Clark as he is still kinda shy with Hazel and I. Also, I just have to mention that the Propaganda Videos were still playing in the background and It's disturbing to eat with it and It makes me uncomfortable.
After Dinner, I made Clark wait for us in the Dining Hall because Hazel and I still have to do the dishes. We didn't play or do anything stupid and time consuming today because we have Clark waiting for us
After we washed the dishes, we went on to find Neil. Since I didn't know where Neil goes at this time, We had to find Nathan and ask him where Neil is. We found Nathan in the Greenhouse, He is helping the others clean the gardening tools
"Hey Nathan, Do you know where Neil is right now?" I asked
"Sure, but why?" Nathan said
"My friend here, Clark, wants to meet Neil" I said
"Is that so? Well, Neil is at his room" Nathan said
"Wait. We don't know where his room is" Hazel said
"It's way back at the back of the Bedroom. You'll see a door there, then you should just knock" Nathan said
"I didn't notice that before. Thanks" I said
"Sure thing" Nathan said
We left the Greenhouse and we went back inside the warehouse. We went to the room where Nathan told us to go to. The three of us went past through everyone in the room and we went to the back. We finally found the door that what we think is Neil's room then we knocked the door. We waited for a response, It took awhile but Neil eventually opened the door
"Oh Hey Shawn. What brought you here tonight?" Neil said
"Well, My friend Clark here, wants to formally meet you" I said
"Oh yes, I took you in with us because you were in the middle of the shooting and I couldn't let you get shot. My name is Neil Walkman and welcome to my institution" Neil said
"I'm Android RQ5638 or simply Clark as Shawn here already said" Clark said
"So, how did you know each other?" Neil asked
"He was my Lawyer of some sort when I was still in the prison, although that was only for a very short period of time" I replied
"Oh, that's great. Well, welcome here. Shawn and Hazel will give you a tour tomorrow if that is fine with them" Neil said
"We'd be glad to" Hazel said
"Alright! Oh, It's getting late, You guys should probably sleep now. Clark can sleep on the vacant bed on top of Hazel. I'll give him his own stuff tomorrow" Neil said
"It's nice meeting you Neil" Clark said
"You too" Neil said then he smiled
We left the room and went on our own separate ways as Hazel and Clark go together while I go on my own to my bed. I looked back for a moment and I saw Clark was already climbing up to his own bed. I went to my bed and I pondered for awhile
"What is wrong with this place?" I said to myself quietly
I just found Clark there on that small back door at the supply room and Neil is constantly missing. It just made me wonder if his disappearance and what happened to Clark had a connection
Something was definitely wrong with this place. It may seem peaceful and all but I see a dark part in it that not everybody may notice. I'm thinking all over the place. I should stop and I should just go on and sleep now. I set an alarm for 4 AM then I finally slept.
I woke up. I see that Hazel has just woken up too. I went to her and sat down to her bed. She was still kinda tired and she was still messy. She stood up and she started making her bed, so I stood up and helped her then we had a little conversation while making the bed
"So what do you think about Clark?" I asked
"He's fine but the way that you found him just boggles me" Hazel replied
"I know right? I just can't imagine how he got there" I said
We finished making the bed. Hazel took her toothbrush and toothpaste then she said that she would wash her face and she would brush her teeth first, I told her to wait for me and that we should go together. I took my stuff and went with her
After going to the bathroom, we went back to the bedroom and we see that Clark is already awake and he has already finished making his bed then we waited for him as it's his turn to go to the bathroom then we left the bedroom
We started our day by giving him a tour of the warehouse. After the tour, we went to Neil's room. Neil finally gave Clark his own set of things, then he left his bag at his bed. After that, we continued our daily chores, since Clark has nothing to do, He helped with us with our chores
At about seven in the morning, It was time for breakfast. Everyone is already at the dining hall. We took our food and sat on the same table as last night. The Propaganda Videos are surprisingly still being shown and still not cut off
I see Neil climbing upstairs which is assume that he is going there because he is going to deliver another announcement. He shouts out load to call for everybody's attention
"Okay, I'm just going to quickly summarize everything that happened yesterday. Through the course of the day, I saw some people on the streets actually begging for the videos to stop and that they promise to stop abusing their Androids. So Yeah! We're actually breaking through! It's incredible. We are now one step closer to peace!" Neil said
Everybody, as usual, applauded.
"Also, I'll have to introduce a new addition to us. His name is...." Neil said
Then suddenly the electricity fluctuates. It returns back to normal one last time before it got abruptly cut off.
