It is your 16th birthday and you have invited all of your friends. You and Rocky are the best of friends but you want more than friendship. You started liking Rocky a few months back but he has a girlfriend . You are up in your room getting your hair and make up done. Your hair is curled and you make your make up as natural as possible. You then get your blue dress that is long at the back, it stops just below your knees and short at the front. You find your white heels and then make your way downstairs as guest start to arrive.
The music was loud and everyone was dancing having a lot of fun. You talk to everyone and thank them for coming. You see Rydel, Ross, Ryland, Riker and Ellington. You walk over and give each of them a hug and smile.
You talk to them for a while then your mum calls you over. You haven't seen Rocky all night and you are hurt since he promised to be here. Once you finish talking to your mum you go back and dance with a few friends.
Later that night you are getting some food and then hear a familiar voice
"Hey stranger" You turn around to see Rocky smiling at you. You don't return the smile as you are annoyed at him
"I'm sorry I'm late" Rocky said
"Rocky I wouldn't mind if you were a half hour late but you are two hours late" You say frustrated
"I'm sorry I was with Katie and..." Rocky began to say but you stopped him.
"Stop, just leave me alone Rocky. This is a big night for me even if I said it wasn't it is. And you decided to go on a date with your girlfriend" You say. You try walking away but he stops you
"It wasn't a date, I was breaking up with her" Rocky said
"What" You asks confused
"I was breaking up with her. We started fighting and then I called us off. Thats why I'm late" Rocky said
"I'm sorry you two broke up" You said
"I'm not because now I can be with the girl I always wanted to be with"
"Who's that" You ask
Rocky pulls you closer to him. You look up at him and you can see him leaning in. You do the same and within a few seconds his lips are on yours. He pulls back after a minute
"You" Rocky says you smile.
You and Rocky dance the rest of the night it was a birthday you will always remember
