Long Distance

Your mum had just told you that you and your family were moving to Minnesota and you were very upset. You and your boyfriend Riker were getting quiet  serious and you didn't want to break up with him. Even though there is 3yrs between you both deeply cared for one another. You have been together since your freshman year of high school. And now you are 18. And you are in your last year of high school. Your mum told you your dad got a new job and that you leave this weekend but you didn't want to listen you just ran out side and started going to you and Rikers secret place. Once you got there you called Riker. 
'Hey baby' Riker said
'R-Ri-Riker, I n-ne-need y-you' you said crying
'Baby what's wrong, why are you crying' Riker asks worried
'I-I'm a-at ou-our se- secret pl-place' You say
'I'm on my way Y/N I'll be there in 10 minutes' Riker says worriedly and hangs up the phone. You say your phone down and just cry because you really didn't want to leave Riker here in California and you be all the way in Minnesota. You couldn't understand why your parents would want to move you now when you are in your last year of high school. You begin to think of all the memories you and Riker have made together from the very beginning to the last date you to had. Which was a nice picnic here at your secret place while watching the stars.
You hear your name being called and you turn around to see Riker running up to you. He sits beside you and wraps his arm around you. He lets you cry and when you finish he speaks
"Baby what's wrong" He asks you
"My mum told me we are moving to Minnesota" You say
"What, why" Riker asks confused and sad
"My dad got a job so we have to move" You say your voice breaking
"Aw baby, this is awful" Riker said
"It gets worse we are moving this weekend but I don't want to move, I want to stay here with you" You say
"I want you to stay to but it doesn't look like we have a choice" Riker said as his voice started to break to. But he kept strong for you
"What are we going to do about us" You ask
"We are going to stay together, you are the best thing that has ever happened to me and I am not going to lose you completely" Riker said
"Promise" you ask
"I promise" Riker replied
"Will you come to Minnesota for my senior prom" You ask jokingly but he took it seriously
"Try and stop me, and I'll be there when you graduate. Then you can come back to California for college" Riker said
"I like that idea" You say
"After you graduate college we will get married and have a family, we will have everything we have always wanted" Riker said
"That sounds amazing, I love you Riker" You say
"I love you to Y/N" Riker said
You two spent the rest of the day talking about memories and the future.

The weekend came by all to quick for you and Riker. You were both standing in the airport waiting for your flight to be called. When your flight got called Riker immediately pulled you into a hug and you returned it without hesitation. You two stayed like that for a few minutes. The way hen you pulled apart. Riker kissed you which you returned and after a minute you pulled back and he wiped your tears away.
You begin walking away and turned around to wave at him but you ran back into his arms
"I'll see you at your prom. We will Skype, text, call, email everything there is to talk" Riker said
"I know but I'm going to miss you" You say
"I'll miss you too baby, we'll make this long distance work" Riker said your flight was called for the final time so you had to go. You went to your family and boarded the plane. When you sat down and tear rolled down your cheek as all you thought about was Riker
