2 months later

The past two months have been the worst two months of my entire life. Everyone has seen the pictures of Chandler and I, even Grayson, William, and GinaAnn, but no one wants to address the matter. Everyday, we all avoid each other while walking around the house, trying not to bring any attention to me or Chandler.

Chandler and I haven't really had contact with each other because of how embarrassing those photos were.

We found out who took the pictures and leaked them onto the Internet. None other than Zoey who-gives-a-fuck-about-her-last-name.

I've tried to stay out of her way to avoid starting shit again, but she won't let it go. Everyday, she has something to say whether it be in class, or at lunch, or after school.

Halloween is right around the corner, so I've had to watch my back just in case Zoey tries to pull something.

Speaking of Halloween, today's my birthday. One day before The Walking Dead returns. The best gift I could ask for.

My phone dings, causing me to lose my train of thought. It's my friend Amanda, wishing me a happy 17th birthday. I smile and send her a thank you text. My mom and my brother called earlier, and Lizzy and I'll probably go do something today to celebrate.

I'm almost positive that no one living here, aka the Riggs family, knows that it's my birthday which sucks because I love attention on my birthday. At least my fans on social media have blessed me with birthday edits.

There's a knock at my door, so I shout, "come in!"

The door creeks open and Chandler stands in the doorway. I smile at him and he slightly waves his hand.

"Can I come in?" He asks sheepishly.

"I said 'come in.' Did I not?" I joke.

Chandler ignores my comment and awkwardly walks to my bed and sits on the corner. I give him a look to tell him to stop being weird.

"Are you okay?" He asks, a look of genuine concern on his face.

"Why would I not be?" I ask confused. I chuckle lightly to try and lighten the mood, but Chandler pays no attention.

"Everything that's been going on lately with Zoey and social media and everything. I just..." he trails off.

"Just what?" I press, looking him in the eyes. They seem grayer than usual without their natural blue glow about them.

"I just wanted to see how you were doing, I guess," Chandler mumbles. He looks down at his lap to twiddle his thumbs.

There's a moment of silence before the doorbell rings. I silently thank God for creating a way for me to get out of this awkward situation, and excuse myself.

I get to the front door before I realize Chandler is following me. I open the door to see Lizzy standing on the porch holding a gift bag and a balloon with the number 17 on it.

"Happy birthday, Shrek!" She exclaims, stepping inside. A smile forms across my face and I pull Lizzy in for a hug.

"Thank you!" I squeal as I close the door behind her.

"It's your birthday?" Chandler questions. I'm so happy Lizzy stopped by because now everyone knows it's my birthday and they can give me the attention I deserve.

"Yep. Seventeen," I shrug like its no big deal, but it's a huge deal.

"Why didn't you say something? I'll be right back!" Chandler says before running out of the house.
