chapter four

*two weeks later*

its friday finally, the past two weeks are the same. other than jordyn and i hanging out alot. i get up and took a quick shower then brushed my teeth.

i change into black leggings and my victoria secret white long sleeve shirt. it covered my butt which was good. i slip on my high top converse. i do my usual make up, i walk downstairs to see my mom in the kitchen.

"goodmorning mom" i said pouring some orange juice in my cup. "hey hun, kian said he was gonna leave early to talk to the coach. he'll see you later." she said. i sighed and kissed her cheek and left.

i got in my car and drove to school. i walk into the school, i go to locker and pick my things out. i see jack walking towards me, lately he's been really nice to me. "hey jack" i smile. "hey" he smiles.

jack and the guys plus kian made the football team, im guessing fridays they have to wear their jerseys. i close my locker, i see a girl looking at jack and i walking. i stopped bc the girl was getting mad. "jack um ill walk to class by myself." i said walking away. he stands there in confusion once he realizes i left he ran towards me.

"whats wrong?" he asked. "n-nothing i gotta go" i said. i walked quickly to class. i didnt want to start drama with anyone. she got mad bc jack was with me.

sadly jordyn is sick today so she stayed home. which means im alone, she felt bad but i told her it was fine.

i walk into class, i was about to sit next to jc but some girl sat there. he did acknowledge it so i rolled my eyes and sat down in the back.

i was writing notes for class, until the fire alarm went off. I groaned loudly and got up. jc tried to catch up to me but i ignored him.

i walk towards were everyone is going. i see kian with the guys, I figured id say hi. i havent really talked to them in a while other than matt.

while i was towards them i see that girl again. i heard kian call out for me, so i walked to him. she looked at me, "hey jenn" kian said. "hi" i said.

"this is Katie she is a close friend of the guys." kian said. "oh hi" i said. she smiled, "hi jenn." when kian turned around she glared at me.

"im gonna leave" i said. "why whats wrong?" he asked. "nothing!" i said, i start to run away until matt caught me. i began to cry. "she doesnt like me bc i hang out with you guys. matt i dont want drama, i dont want her to attack me when no one is looking. im just, s-scared." i cried.

"jenn its okay, im here. always. she'll never lay a hand on you she'll deal with us. shes just jealous about you. i mean cmon my bestfriend is beautiful !!" he said. i smiled and hugged him. i turn to see Jack, he looked down and walked away.

"hold on im gonna talk to jack" i said wiping my tears. he nodded, i ran towards jack.

"jack whats wrong?" i asked grabbing his arm. "do you like matt" he asked. "jack your crazy why would you say that?" i said.

"jenn, do you like matt?" he asked again ignoring what i said. "no i dont, hes my bestfriend." i said.

he nodded, "why?" i said. he started to walk away. "jack! why?" i said.

"bc jenn i like you!! i was jerk to you, only bc i didnt know what my feelings for you were. when i met you i was in a bad place thas why i let me anger out at you. im sorry that i was a jerk. these past two weeks have made me realize, i do like you." he said. "jack i don't know what to say." i said.

"jack i dont know, everyone says you play with girls and i dont want to be one of those girls you play with." i said. "jenn i like you. I really do, only you. my old days are over. all i want is you, no other girl." he said.

"jack ... just give me time." i sighed. he nodded, "i do like you, but i need to think." i smiled. i hug him, the bell stopped ringing and we went back to our class.

*skipping to the end of the day*

i walked out with jack, "thank gosh the weekend is waiting for me, especially my bed and Netflix" i said.

he laughed, "what are you doing later tonight?" he asked. "nothing i think" i said. "well im taking you out" he said. "oh is that so? hmm actually let me check my schedule bc im a busy woman." I smirked pretending to check my phone.

"hmm looks like i am, i guess my bed and Netflix will have to wait." I chuckle, he hugs me and laughs.

"ill pick you up at 6" he said. i nodded and i walk to my car and he walks to his.

i drive back home, its 2:30 so i have enough time. once i reach my house i park my car and headed inside. "mom im home!" i yelled. "okay well im going to work, they want me to work a night shift!" she said. as i was walking in the kitchen, "jack is taking me out tonight" i said.

"REALLY!!" she yelled. "mom yes now stop yelling my ears hurt." I chuckle.

"sorry hun, but have fun i gotta go!" she kisses my forehead and walks out. kian soon comes in, then i hear a bunch of people come in.

"dude what the fu-" i cut myself off. "oh its just you guys i thought there was more" i said. "no its just us." nash said.

"well where is jack?" i asked. "hes out doing something, why are you asking?" kian said. "uh no reason" i said.

kian looked at me with wide eyes, "NO FUCKING WAY" he said. "YOU BETTER NOT LIKE HIM!" he yelled.

i look at him in shock. "what the fuck? your not my dad kian! i can fucking do what ever i want. yeah i like him but that has nothing to do with you! you have no right to say that to me or be protective when you have been an awful brother to me! matt and jordyn have literally been there for me when you werent! SO FUCK YOU KIAN!" i yelled.

he stood there and didnt say anything, his eyes start to tear up and so did mine. i ran up stairs to my room, while kian was calling my name. I slammed my door and slide down the door.

I decided to take a nap, so i put an alarm at 4:45. i turn my phone off and fell asleep.
