chapter thirty eight

3 weeks later.

i finally bought the apartment, i am fully moved in. the past three weeks i have been doing a lot of work on the apartment, i had people come paint and i went to get decorations to make it look nice.

i have also decided jack could move in, also kian and matt are moving in next door. the other guys are moving into the apartments across from us.

but yes i decided to let jack move in, only because he's the father of the baby and if im going to be living here until then he wants to be there for me.

kian was a little mad but then when found out there was an apartment across from mine was available he begged matt to move in with him.

and for my mom, we told her to stay with me since the house was going on sale. we packed everything and sent it to storage because the house found is getting repaired. everything was out the house in a week.

i was a little sad that i moved out but at the same time i needed to grow up.

but anyways, my moms house is like ten minutes from my apartment so that's good.

also my mom surprised me and kian by telling us she was talking to someone, which was good and bad at the same time. she hasn't dated anyone since my dad passed, but i'm glad she's starting over. although she misses dad every single day.

the man she's been seeing is actually nash's dad, she said that every time we went out hayes dad would stop by to give my mom some company.

(i know he's married but i didn't know who else could be her man lol)

but putting that aside, right now i'm in my room editing a video i recently made. that's when jack entered our room.

"hey babe what are you doing?" he said laying next to me. "editing a video" i chuckled.

"ahh okay. well wanna do something after?" he asked. "yeah why not." i smiled.

he smiled and pulled out his phone. as i was editing i heard the doorbell and went to open it. as i was going down the stairs i tripped on a step. from that moment i knew something was wrong.

i screamed for help, and started crying. before i fainted i saw jack panicking and calling someone.

that was all i remember. as i was slowly waking up i blinked a couple times to see i was in the hospital.

i began panicking. "MY BABY" i yelled. "is the baby okay!?" i cried. i looked at the doctor, "TELL ME THE BABY IS OKAY." i cried even more.

"jenn, please calm down. the baby is fine you didn't fall on your stomach, your husband said you fell on your side. which didn't hurt the baby as much. but the baby is perfectly fine." he smiled. i sighed in relief and held onto jack.

"you did hurt your head, but it wasn't anything big so your fine to leave. since your husband has signed you out." the doctor said.

he left and i could see a smile on jacks face, "what creep i freakin fell and your smiling?" i said. "he said i'm your husband" he smirked. i rolled my eyes and got up.

as i got up i felt a little dizzy which jack noticed so he helped me out. i just realized i didn't even know who was at the door.

"babe who was at the door?" i said. "no one, i think someone must of ding dong ditched our apartment." he chuckled.

what that makes no sense?? i remember hearing a voice. what the heck?

i ignored it and got in the car. jack drove us home and i'm pretty sure he didn't tell kian bc once i got home kian was pissed.

"what the hell jack! why didn't you tell me? i told you that if your gonna live with jenn, if anything happened to her you tell me. you don't just leave without anyone telling." he slightly yelled.

"kian stop just stop. if i told you what happened you probably will never let me go down the stairs by myself bc you'd be scared if it happened again. look at me i'm fine!" i said.

he rolled his eyes and started walking out. "if dad was here you wouldn't be pregnant or dating jack." he yelled and slammed the door.

my heart dropped. did he really say that? did he really mean it? it seemed as if he's saying i became a hoe after dad passed. jack looked at me i shocked, then i saw my mom walk in.

"baby he didn't mean that" my mom said walking towards me. "i can't believe he said that." i cried. i walked away from her and went to my room and slammed my door.

what if its true? what if dad was here? would i still be a virgin? would alicia be alive still? so many questions ran through my head, it was to much for me so i fell asleep.

as i was sleeping i felt a pair of arms wrap around me and making me feel safe. i turned to see jack. i moved closer to him and hid my face between his shoulder. as he hugged me i feel him rub my back.

"im so in love with you" i said. "i love you more and more everyday, baby girl." he kissed my forehead.

i soon fell back asleep.
