chapter thirty three

*two weeks later*

I'm finally back in school. I haven't been here in a while, i don't know if I'm going to be able to graduate. but we only have two weeks left so.

my mom and i had a talk last week about what I'm going to do when i graduate. i decided i didn't want to go to college, i don't think after everything i can handle that. my mom also said she wanted to sell this house bc she knows that kian wants to move into his own place with jc. she wants a two story house that has enough rooms for us.

i told her i wanted to have my own apartment for now then see where i can go. but ill be going to the house all the time. kian and i also talked about buying her the house so she won't worry about, but she doesn't know.

but other than that right now its monday. I'm in class, i don't know why i started thinking about that but i did. lol.

i decided i should talk to my teacher about my attendance. right now everyone is just doing make up work or on their phones.  she was my favorite teacher anyways, "hey ms hawthrone, i have a quick question" i said. "yes dear." she smiled. "i was wondering because of my attendance is there still a chance i can graduate?" i said. "hun don't worry about that, you have two weeks left. it doesn't matter about to attendance since you've made up the work for it, plus you grades are still good. don't stress about it, Jenn" she smiled. i nodded and got up and walked to my desk.

jc taps my shoulder, "what happened" he said. "nothing i just wanted to ask her something" i chuckle. "oh i thought you got in trouble" he laughed.

*skipping to fourth block*

so im in class with the guys right now, our teacher isn't here so we aren't doing anything. someone knocks on the door but since I'm the one closest to it i got up and opened it. "hi is jack gilinksy in this class?" a lady asked. i nodded, i point to nash to get jack. jack looks up and walks to us. "she needs to talk to you" i smile. he smiles and looks at her, i go sit next to matt laying my legs on his lap.

"I'm tired" i whine. "were almost leaving jenn" he laughed. "i know but i slept late. i heard amber crying, and i saw my mom stressing out so i helped her." i shrug. "you'll be okay, take naps during the day it'll help." matt smiled like an creep. "don't do that" i laugh.

jack comes in with a big smile. he comes to sit next to me hugging me. "whats up babe" i chuckle. "she asked if i can be the valedictorian!" he said. i jumped and looked at him, "WHAT NO WAY" i said hugging him tightly. "congrats babe!" i kissed his cheek.

all the guys give jack their bro hug while I'm just smiling like a complete fool. I'm so proud of jack, he's changed so much in a good way. he has become a better person. i take out my phone to take a picture of jack. he was talk with the guys but i decided to brag about him on instagram. jack doesn't notice i take the picture, i caption it as "congrats babe"

after posting it i turn my phone off and laid my head down. all of a sudden my head started hurting. a lot. but i didn't want to worry anyone. so i let it go by itself. i took a short nap, then was woken but matt tapping my shoulder.

i groan loudly and got my bag. "lets go" he said. once we left class i went to my car, but was stopped by jack. "hey babe you okay" he said. "yeah i'm fine, my head just hurts." i softly smile. "are you sure you can drive?" he said. "yeah i'm fine." i repeated. "okay babe, well the guys wanted to go hang out for a while. but i can stay with you if you want." he smiled. "no its fine, go have your guy time." i smile.

i get in and close the door, and opening the window to say bye. "bye, text me later." i said. jack kisses me and nods. i start to back out the parking lot, once im out i start driving. i finally get home to see my mom and amber.

i smile to myself and walked up to them. "hey mom how's amber?" i said. "she's good, a lot of work but its okay" she said. i sit next to her and asked to hold amber.

amber started to smile. "looking at you hold amber, makes me think about you having kids" my mom smiled. "oh mom, im 18 i think i'm going to wait." i smile. "alright, but i mean it would be nice if i was grandma" she chuckled. "she can call me mimi or grams" she smiled.

"cute" i laugh. "wait mom do you know what can stop a terrible headache?" i asked. "honey just go rest." she said.

i nodded and went upstairs. i put my phone on the table and laid in the bed.

after a while i woke up and looked at the time. 6:30 pm. i had a couple text messages but i just ignored them. i got up and went downstairs. my mom was making dinner while kian was with amber. "hey sleepy head" kian laughed. "what time did you get home?" i asked. "not to long ago, mom wanted to cook but couldn't leave amber alone." he said.

"mom you could of woken me up" i sighed. "jenn its okay" she smiled. "so we're all eating together?" i asked.

they both nodded, i smiled and grabbed the cloth to put on the dinning table. my mom made lasagna was some potato salad. i put everything on the table and waited for mom and kian to sit.

we all sat down, we did a prayer and ate. we shared stories and talked about what we wanted to do after we graduate.

after that we cleaned up and watched a movie.

and that was it. a night all together is all i wanted. we haven't had a family night since dad died but it was good to start again.
