chapter five

i wake up to see its 4:50, hmm five minutes late. i get up and picked and outfit then i went to my bathroom. i turn on my curling iron, i plug my phone into my speakers and blasted some drake on.

my hair was short but not to short. i curled my hair once I finished I sprayed my hair so it could stay. i went to my makeup table and did my make up.

i was wearing my black romper, with my nude heels. i put on my necklace my dad gave me, ever since he passed i was scared to put it on bc i thought i would break down and cry. but i had to be strong, i put it on and smiled.

i put my pinkish nude lipstick on, i put some earrings and sprayed perfume also adding deodorant. i walk out my room with my phone and purse. i go downstairs, i checked the time it was 5:56. good thing I finished on time.

i hear the door bell ring so i walk to the door. i open it to see jack he was wearing khaki pants with a black polo shirt. i smiled, "hey" i said. "hey, you look beautiful !" he said. "thank you" i smile, "shall we go?" he said. "we shall." i said.

we both walk to the car, jack opens the door for me, "why thank you" i said. "no problem" he smiled. he jogs over to his side and starts the car. he then starts driving, "where are we going?" I asked.

"it's a surprise" he smirked. I chuckle, i open my snapchat and record jack, "jack look" i said. he looks at the camera and blows a kiss to me.

the video stops, we both look at it. i caption it was a heart. instantly jordyn texts me.

Jordyn 💅🏼💖: EXPLAIN YOUR STORY PLEASE LADY!!
jenn: Jack expressed his feelings to me and asked me to go out with him. you know I secretly liked him!
Jordyn 💅🏼💖: MY BABY GIRL IS GOING ON A DATE OMG I NEED TO SAVE THIS! THIS IS ON SPECIAL DAY!
jenn: jordyn omg this is so embarrassing!! 😂😂
Jordyn 💅🏼💖: well im go so you and mr hot guy have some time alone
jenn: alrigh bye love you
Jordyn 💅🏼💖: love you too

jordyn is honestly the best. shes the only one who knows i havent had a boyfriend. only bc of all the fuckboys in New York.

"have you thought about it?" he asked out of nowhere. "i have actually, i had a dream that we were dating and I was like holy shit !! but ill give you a chance Gilinsky" i laughed. he smirked, "good bc i have a to show you something after the surprise." he said.

i nodded, jack thought it was ok to put his hand on top of my thigh which made me flinch. which caused him to laugh. "dude you scared me !" i said. he continued to laugh. he turns in to a very beautiful restaurant.

"aww this is cute!" i said. he smiled and intertwined our hands together. i smile and look up to him.

we both walk into the restaurant, "do you have reservations?" a lady asked. jack nodded, "Jack Gilinsky" he said.

she nodded and leaded us to our table. we both sit down. she hands us a menu, "your waitress is on her way." she smiled.

i nodded and looked at the menu. I decided on having the meat tacos with guacamole on top.

"jenn" he said. "yes?" i asked. "why didnt you want me to walk with you to your class" he asked.

"bc that katie girl, she was glaring at. and i want my senior year a drama free year." i sighed. "she wont so anything to you, you got me and the guys and jordyn, especially your brother." he said.

"im not sure about kian" i said. "why what happened?" he asked. "well i was asking for you, and i guess kian found out i liked you, he got mad and yelled at me in front of the guys. so i yelled back at him and told him he had so right to say that." i sighed.

"jenn, i dont want to be the reason why you guys are fighting" he said. "no its okay, hes just being overprotective but we'll fix it soon" i smiled.

he nodded, our food finally came. we ordered before he asked. we start to dig in, while i was eating i see a flash.

i cover my mouth and then another flash. "jack you better not be taking pictures of me" i said blocking his phone.

he chuckled and showed me the pictures, "i look so ugly omg delete" i laugh. "you look cute stop lying and never" he said.

i take my phone out and take a picture of him, but instead of getting him off guard he was smiling in all of them, "fuck" I whisper and laughed. "you look hot in these pictures but the food looks HOTTER" i laugh.

he gasps, "excuse me" he said. "just kidding!!" i said.

after finished our food, I decided on recording jack bc he wasnt looking. he turned to the side which made his jaw line more defined. "damn that jaw line" i said, he chuckles and smiles.

i look at the video and saved it and posted it. my whole story was jack and i, i say all the pictures and videos.

"lets go, i already paid" he said. i nodded, we intertwined out hands again and walked out. he opens my door and i thank him again.

"now i need to show you something." he said. he starts driving for while until we reach the park.

he opens my door and of course i thank him. he holds onto my hand we walk towards the swings. "okay, jenn Lawley, have literally changed my life for the good. ive changed my ways just to get the girl of my dreams. i told you how i felt about you and once you said you'd give me a chance my heart started flipping shit." he chuckled. "jenn lawley will you be my girlfriend?" he asked.

"of course i will, Jack Gilinsky" i said. and with that Jack slowly leans in and kisses me. i kiss back obviously, i soon stop the kiss and smiled.

"alright, you probably like why are we here what does he want to show me" he paused. "well this is the place i come to think, this is the place i have been coming since i was 5 and I wanted you to be here and i wanted to ask you to be my girlfriend here bc this place is special to me, now its even more special to me." he said.

"aw thats really sweet jack" i said hugging him. "its gettingg late i should take you home" he said. "thank you for tonight." i smile. "anything for you" he kisses my forehead and starts walking back to his car. he opens my door and i thank him. he gets in and starts driving.

we reach my house, i get out and start to walk but jack stopped me. "um hello where is my kiss goodbye?" he asked. i giggled and kissed him. "goodnight jack" i said. "goodnight jenn" he smiled. i start walking and unlocked the door. i lock the door and made my way upstairs.

i take my clothes off and changed in my shorts and a oversized shirt. i take my makeup off and my necklace and slowly laid it on my desk. i take my earrings off and brushed my teeth.

i walk to my bed, i check my phone to see one message from jack and one from kian.

jack ❤️: goodnight jenn 😘
jenn: goodnight jack ❤️

then i checked kians,

kian🤑🙄: jenn im sorry, please come to my room so we can talk this out.

i sighed and got up.
