chapter forty eight

we went home that night, we didn't sleep over at the guys house. we did end up sleeping altogether on our bed.

i woke up and checked the time. 9:30 am, not to bad. i picked Nicole up slowly, not trying to wake her, i took her to her rocking hammock and gave her bottle.

today was the party which i probably won't go, i'm not sure if jack is going, i don't mind if he goes. but today i'm housing shopping, looking for a house with five rooms. i know a lot of rooms, what for?

well one room for my office, baby's room, our room, guest room and playroom. while i poured myself a bowl with cereal, jack came downstairs. he served himself some to, "hey i'll be right back im gonna get my macbook." i said.

he nodded, i went back upstairs and grabbed my phone and computer. i go back downstairs and sat back down.

i opened my computer and googled a couple houses. there was two i think, that we both liked. it had 6 rooms, 8 bathrooms, four car garage, a pool, a huge patio, etc. we actually liked it better than the other one, this was one was little pricey but we are able to buy it.

the best part is, we are in the same neighborhood as the guys, also there are schools near.

anyways, i called and asked if i could go see the house, the guy said yeah it was fine but around 6:30.

"we can't do it another day? the party is tonight" jack said. "im not going, so i can go look at the house myself." i said. "babe what do you mean your not going?" jack said. "jack i just had a baby, im not gonna go out and partying while i leave me baby. you can go to the party and everything will be fine." i said.

"i wont go if you don't want me too." jack said. "babe go, i'll see the house and i'll tell you if its the house." i smiled. he groaned but nodded.

"but i don't trust that man alone with you and baby." jack said. "what makes you think a guy would flirt with me? a mom" i laughed.

"alright alright" jack chuckled.

after eating we just chilled on the couch binge watching "13 reasons why" i'm in love with this show .

"damn Jeff is so freakin cute , but wait zach is even cuter" i said. jack paused the show and looked at me. "what" i said trying to grab the remote. "babe your cute too." i said kissing him. we stayed home for most of the day, jack had to get ready.

it was 5 pm, i got up and went to check on Nicole. she was wide awake, once she saw me she started to giggle. "hi baby it's momma" i said a baby voice. "oh aren't you a cutie" i said looking down at her.

"lets get you dressed up." i smiled, i picked her up. i put on a baby pink shirt with white pants and black booties.

her hair was starting to grow, not a lot but i just put it to the side. i put a bow on her, she was ready. "okay lets go upstairs" i said, i held her in my arms and walked upstairs. jack was sitting the bed putting his shoes on.

"babe can you watch Nicole?" i said. he nodded, he held onto her. i went to the closet and picked my outfit, then i went to shower.

after changing i picked up Nicole from the bed were jack put her, i went downstairs and grabbed Nicole's bag and stroller.

jack helped me bring everything to my car and left. i got into the car, looking back to see Nicole playing with one of her toys.

i backed out the parking lot and left to the house. once i got there the guy was sitting outside with the keys. the house was extremely huge, i don't know if we'd need this whole house.

"Hi my name is Julian, im the realtor." he smiled. "im Jenn." i said. "this is Nicole my daughter." i said.

he nodded, he looked behind me. "and where is the father?" he asked. "oh my boyfriend, he's at his moms house." i lied. he nodded.

he wasn't that cute, he looked like a creep to me.

after looking at the house, i fell in love with it. it was just like i imagined. we did the paper work, and everything.

starting today we have a house.

i get a notification from matthew on instagram.

he posted a picture from the party. i liked he picture, when i look in the back i see jack sitting and a girl all on top of him.

are you kidding me? i drove to my moms house and asked if she could watch Nicole for a little while. she said it was fine. i looked at my outfit and i looked basic; oh well.

i drove to Kylie's party i went to the gate and told them who i was and they let me in. i went inside the venue i said hey to kylie and told her i just had to drop something to jack.

but kylie insisted that i changed bc the paparazzi was there. i nodded, she took me to the back and helped me changed.

i was wearing a tight black dress with red heels, since i had already done my make up i left as it was. she passed me a sliver necklace.

i thanked her and we went back to the venue. i looked around, and saw matt. i walked up to him, "hey matt" i smiled. "hey i thought you weren't coming!" matt yelled over the loud music. "yeah i thought so too!" i yelled.

matt and i talked for a while, i guess matt had to go meet someone so i was left alone. i looked around to see if i could find a bathroom.

i found the nearest bathroom, pushing through people. once i made it to the bathroom i pulled out my phone to see if i had messages, three from jack and 10 missed calls.

three from kian, one from my mom, four from jack, one from my aunt?

i called kian first. "hey you called?" i said. "i was just checking in since you didn't come to the party." he said. "oh yeah" i said loudly. "why are you yelling, it's like i can hear you from where i'm standing." he chuckled. "i have to pee" kian said. he banged on the door, which caused an echo bc of our phones.

"hey how come i just heard a loud bang?" kian said. "uhh i fell." i said. he started banging again. "jenn are you in the bathroom??!!" kian said.

i unlocked the door and saw kian. "what are you doing here." kian chuckled. "i came to party because i saw picture that matt posted and saw a girl all over jack in the back of the picture." i shrugged.

"jack isn't here he left early to be with you." kian said. "what?" i said. he nodded, "but the picture was recently posted" i said. "let me see."

i show him the picture, "jenn that's not even jack." kian said. i gasped, "oh my gosh." i sighed.

"i gotta go." i said. i grabbed my phone and left. i went back to the place were i changed and put my clothes back on.

is that why jack called me? jack is on a hate me, he's gonna think i don't trust him. i got in my car and drove to my moms. but i saw a familiar car.

it was jacks. i get out and walked to the front door, once i knocked on it jack opened. he was holding Nicole.

"where were you? why did you leave Nicole at your moms?" he asked. i had to tell him, or he'll think otherwise.

"i saw a picture matt posted and i looked in the back of the picture and i thought it was you and a girl that was all over you, but kian told me you left early to see me." i said.

"so you don't trust me? is that why you had to go the party? because you thought i'd cheat on you? i told you i've changed. im not the same guy i was Jenn. if your so worried about me cheating on you then we can't be together." jack said handing me nicole.

"what? your just gonna leave because i did one stupid thing? after i forgave you all those times you cheated?" i cried. he didnt say anything and left. i stood there shocked. my mom came to the door, "what's wrong baby? what happened?" she asked.

"jack broke up with me." i said she gasped, "what!?" she said. i nodded, "he was going to propose." my mom said.

i looked at her with a confused face, "what?" i said. she nodded.
