chapter twenty one

*a week later*

its been a week since i found put jack and madison. jack asked her out the next day right in front of me. by in front of me i mean i was walking to class one day and walked past me to madison and asked her out. your probably thinking oh she probably left and cried.

no ive stopped crying since that night. i gave up. you can say i was stupid for doing that but look he's happy so whatever. within the week ive met this guy named Noah. he's really nice, he moved about two weeks ago, we talked a little but not like that. he said he liked me but i told him i wasn't ready yet. of course he understood.

so right now im with Noah and his friend Kevin. kevin is really funny, like no joke. he would do the stupidest things, like matt. speaking of matt, i have not forgotten about him, we always talk and we are still best friends.

anyways, noah and kevin wanted to go to the boardwalk today. kevin drove there by himself since hes meeting up with his girlfriend there. i was with noah, apparently something was happening at the boardwalk that i didnt know was happening.

noah says two guys are doing a gig there. once we got there noah opened my door, me saying thank you and walking with him. kevin wasn't gonna stay with us, so we left to the games.

after five tries of playing one of the games where you use a water gun and such. he won me a huge teddy bear. i ask the man working there to take a picture of us. once he takes it he smiles and hands me my phone back.

i look at it, i look to see noah looking at me and smiling. "your so cute" he said. i blush and cover my face with the teddy bear. "so are you" i smile.

we continue walking, until we reached an ice cream store. we walk in hand in hand, i order my favorite which is oreo in a cone and he gets pralines and cream. once he paid we left and sat down on a bench.

"im already in love with today" i chuckle. "why is that?" he said. "you, the ice cream and this teddy bear!!" i smile. noah laughs and continues eating his ice cream.

i decided to take a picture of us and post it on snapchat. then i post the picture of the guy took on Instagram with a heart.

"lets go see the two guys are!" i said. he smiles and gets up, we start walking until i see the guys and my brother and jordyn. "hey guys! what are you doing here?" i asked. "we came to support the jacks." cameron said.

my heart dropped. my smile dropped. "oh." i said. "lets go watch" noah said. i nervously nodded and continued walking.

the concert was starting in a few, soon Johnson came onto the stage dancing and yelling. i cheered and screamed "i love you Johnson!!" which caused him to smile.

"love you to jenn!!" he smiles. i laugh at the fact that every girl and noah is looking at me. "dont worry hes one of my bestfriends." i said. he nodded. soon Jack came out.

it look like he was looking for someone, but thats when he saw me, he smiled and looked to my left. where noah was, he then looked at our hands.

"lets get started." jack said bluntly.

they had one song left, apparently this was written for someone special said Jack. lol madison. OK. so i told noah i was gonna go buy some water.

once i was almost out the crowd i hear jack say something, "jenn dont leave. this is for you."

i turned around and glared at him and continued walking. "jenn please." he said. then i feel lights on me. "jack just stop." i said trying not to let my tears fall. "just listen." he said. "no jack. your fucking dating madison! i have someone that i actually like. i loved you before, keyword before. you pick her over me. so just leave me alone!" i said.

i look down and took a deep breath. once i look up jack was no longer there. i walk to were noah was, he wasn't there. fuck. i mumble.

everyone was starting to leave until i saw johnson. i ran to him and just cried. "jenn you didnt mean all that did you?" he said. "i didn't. i love him. only him." i said. then i feel a tap on my shoulder. i slowly turn around to see noah.

"noah im so-" he cut me off. "no your not. why would you use me?" he said throwing the teddy bear at me. "to think i was gonna get you the water instead." he said throwing it at me, causing it to hit my head.

i fell onto the floor, since my legs got weak. "dude you didnt have to fucking do that!" i hear jack yell. "you know i dont what jenn sees in you" noah said.

i got up and walk towards them. "i see someone who actually cares. i see someone who wont hurt a girl bc she did something stupid. i may not being dating him but i have much respect for him." i said.

noah scoffs and walks away. "are you okay?" jack says. "yup." i said. "cmon jenn please" he begged. "no im sorry. your dating madison, plus you cant just stop loving someone." i said.

"i never stopped loving you." he said. "yes you did jack. you picked her over me. give me time." i said. kissing his cheek and walking away.

fuck noah was my ride. i turn back around to see jack still there, "he was my ride.. can you take me home?" i asked scratching my neck. he nodded and smiled.

after jack dropped me off i went to my room and laid down.
