chapter twelve

finally it was time to go. i walk out the building. i wait outside for kian to come out. then I receive a text message from kian.

kian 🤑: coach told us to stay for extra practice since we have a game friday. you can take my car.
jenn: i dont have your keys ??
kian 🤑: come get them
jenn: nah ill walk
kian 🤑: jenn just come get them
jenn: uh oh im almost home 
kian 🤑: HOW YOU WHAT WHEN !!

i text him bye and walked home. as i was walking my phone rang. I answered it, "hello?" i said. "hey hun its mom we need to talk." she said. "alright im almost home, kian stayed for extra football practice" i said.

"we'll wait till he gets home" she said. "okay mom see you in a few." i said. she hangs up, what is there she could tell us?

i finally get home and she smiles at me. "hey sweetie, you hungry?" she asked. "kinda" i shrugged.

I decided to tell my mom lets hope she doesnt get mad. "mom i got in a fight today .." i said.

she slowly turns around. "what!! why?" she said. "this girl started it she slapped me in the face first and you know dad taught me self defense." I sighed.

"I understand but you know you would get introuble. how come they didnt call me?" she said.

"the principal said he wasn't going to call i dont know why. but i know for sure this wont happen again." i said reassuring her.

"okay you better learn your listen" she smiled. i nodded. we ate lunch and waited till kian comes. usually practice is about two hours. but me and mom just get talking. she sure did look a little different.

kian finally comes in, "kian and jenn please sit down." she said, we both sit in the living room.

"okay. so before your father passed away, he and i wanted to have another baby. and so we tried, and apparently im pregnant. i didnt know until i felt morning sickness. but the weird thing is i didnt get it until like a week after we moved. my bump is barely noticeable, but you guys are gonna have a baby sister or brother!" she said.

"WHAT!! no way !! i hope its a girl!" i said. "i hope its a boy!" kian smiled.

"dont you think he/she will remind us of dad? like he wont be here to see his third child. our baby brother or sister wont be able to see their father." i sighed.

"honey we'll make it work. when the baby is older we'll tell them about their dad. " she smiled. both me and kian nodded. "well i should get to work, i didnt work in the morning so i have to work tonight." she groaned, we laugh and she glares at us.

once she leaves kian looks at me. "did you tell mom about the fight?" he asked. i nodded, "she wasnt that mad but she told me never to do it." i shrugged.

"jack kept talking about you. he was like i will never hurt her again, or i love her so much. i was like dude shes my sister your lucky i havent beat the shit out of you." he said.

"kian your gonna scare him." I chuckle. i also blush at hearing that he was talking about me.

"friday is your game right? what time?" i asked. "yes and its at 6:15." he said.

"ill go watch you play" i smile. "lets make a YouTube video since we haven't uploaded in a while." he suggested.

"yeah lets do a q&a on my channel" i said. he nodded, I tweeted my fans saying to ask us questions with the hashtag "jenn&kian q&a".

immediately we get a bunch of notifications. i put my camera in position and my lights on.

i start recording. "hey guys ! its jenn and today me and kian are going to do a q&a." i said. he nodded and smiled.

"alright first question, from @toryloves kian: do you guys fight ? we do but it only last about a day. kian would miss me to much" i chuckle. "lies she cries for me." he laughed.

"next question, from @jennsfanaccount : who is older?, kian is by like three minutes i think." i said.

"alright my turn. @gilinskysjawline: why did you guy move to LA? well we wanted a fresh start" he smiles.

"ok @jennstaco : when are you going on tour? well for sure once school is over but we'll let yall know!" he smiled.

"alright thats all the questions we have for you today! dont forget to leave a like and comment, i may or may not respond to comments tonight" i wink.

"bye guys love you!!" i blow a kisses and smiled. once the camera stops i grab my laptop to edit it.

once I finish editing, kians leaves bc he said he has a date with this girl. Jack texted me a while saying he was coming over.

Jack finally gets here with a bag full of goodies like icecream, chips and candy. "OH HOW I LOVE YOU" i said hugging the bag,

Jack gasped and starts walking away, "no i love you more" i said kissing him. he smiles, we walk in the house again.

"lets watch a movie!" i said. "can we watch deadpool" he asked. "i love that movie!" i said. he laughs and puts the movie on. i go to kitchen and grabbed two spoons.

jack went to get a blanket, he takes out the icecream and lays it on his lap. i sit beside him and cuddled. i open the icecream and grab some.

it was so delicious i moaned. "woah babe" he chuckles. i blush, "its good how can i not" i laugh. he kisses my cheek, "i love you" he said.

"i love you too" i wink. i just csme to realize matt hasnt texted me or called me.

"have you talked to matt?" I asked."yeah he was at football practice with us" he said watching the movie. "he hasnt texted me since that day I visited him." i sigh.

"text him" he said. I nodded and grabbed my phone.

mattchu 💖: hey bestfriend!!!

i leave my phone on the couch then a few seconds later i checked it."read at 8:34"

"he left me on read" i said."he's probably busy" jack said hugging me tighter. I nodded and continue eating icecream.

i kept checking my phone every few minutes to see if he answered. then i gave up. "jack im gonna go to his wanna come?" i asked.

"nah ima head home, tell me what happens. i love you" he kisses me and walks out.

i leave the house and get in my car. once i start the car i drive to matthews house which isnt far.

once i get there i ring the door bell. matt answers. "why havent you been answering my messages?" i said.

"i was busy." he said not looking at me. "matt" i said sternly. "jenn you know i love you. but i have a girlfriend and she told me not to speak to you. i know i shouldnt listen to her but i love her. i dont know if we can stay friends jenn. just know i will always care for you. i will never forget you." he said kissing my forehead. "i need you to go jenn, this is really hard for me too." he said crying.

"you cant j-just leave me matt. you're my bestfriend for crying out loud! i cant lose you i dont want to." i cried.

"bye jenn." he said closing the door. i cried and sat on the floor. i sat like this for a good five minutes. i finally get up and walked to my car.

i start my car and drive home. once i get home i run up to my room ignoring kian yelling for me. i close my door and laid down.

i grab my phone and decided to post a picture of matt and i. i caption it

"you were my bestfriend. you left for the love of your life. i cared for you so much. but i dont know how to react at something like this. i lost my bestfriend.  you were my first guy bestfriend. i loved you so much. but things change. i guess its true, they come and go."

i post it without tagging matt. i just let my phone blow up. i soon fell asleep.
