chapter twenty six

"matt.." i said. "what's going on?" i said. "why would you care?" he said. "because he's my brother!" i yelled. "what is wrong !?" i asked. "kian was in a car accident. a trailer truck hit him, the truck was trying to reach pass the red light, kian was already driving on his turn and he hit him." matt says. "wha—"i dropped down onto the floor.

"he's in a coma." matt said. he bent down and moved my hair from my face. "he's going to be okay." he said.

"are you mad at me?" i said. "i was but when i saw you breakdown i know it wasn't your fault." he sighed. "i left bc i couldn't take it, kian was doing drugs again and i couldn't handle the fact that he hit me." i cried.

"kian wasn't in the right estate to notice what he did." he said. i look down to see my phone ringing. it was jack.

"jenn?! are you okay? where are you!?" he said. "im in the hospital i needed to see kian." i said. "jenn.. im on my way" he said. i hung up and went to kians room.

he looks lifeless. my brother, my number one, the main guy that cared for me.

"kian.. your not supposed to be here. we're supposed to be together, with each other. you can't leave me. you can't, please don't. i can't lose you like i lost dad. kian please stay with me." i said touching his hands.

"stay with us, you can do this. kian your strong, be the guy who told me to stay strong when dad died." i said. "i can't let our argument be the last moment with you." i cried.

jack walked in and saw me. he walked towards me and pulled me into a huge hug. "he can't be gone." i said. he rubbed my back and kissed my temple. "baby hes strong." he said. "can i have a moment with him?" jacks said.

i nodded and walked out.

*Jack's POV*

"kian, man stay strong. you have a baby brother or sister coming, that you need to meet. you have your mom to support. lastly you have jenn to protect, to be there for. jenn needs you, we need you!" i cried.

kian and i have had our ups and down but he's like a brother to me. i can't let him go.

*Jenn's POV*

i see jack come out the room, he was crying i can tell. he sat next to me, and hugged me. everyone left to go sleep since it's 5 am. i stayed here with jack, i took about two naps and looked at the time to see its 12:30 pm. i look up to see everyone sitting in the waiting room. i look at jack to see he's smiling and crying. "what— what is going on?" i asked.

"kian is okay, turns out he wasn't in a coma, the doctors thought he was but once he woke up they were all shocked." jack smiled. i let out a small laugh in relief and ran to his room.

once i reached his room, i took a deep breath and walked in. kian was causally watching tv and eating as if nothing happened. "KIAN!" i yelled. i ran to him and softly hugged him. i didn't let go i let all the tears out. "im sorry kian" i cried. "don't cry jenn, im okay. i should be the one apologizing for what i did to you." he said. "shut up kian i don't care about that all i care about right now is you." i said kissing his cheek multiple times knowing he hates that.

"jenn stop that" he chuckled. "im glad your okay" i hug him. "how was your trip?" he asked. "well i have a bunch to tell you." i sighed.

"tell me" he said moving over so i can lay next to him. i smile and laid down laying my head on his shoulder.

"where do i start" i said. "from the beginning."he said. "okay well when i went to new york i didn't know jack was coming. i was going to go alone to visit dad's grave. but jack came along with me and once we got to dad's grave i saw fresh flowers and i was little confused but then i look up to see a girl. asking me what am i doing at her dads grave.i look down to make sure it was dad, but i told her this is my dad. she said wait your jenn?" i sighed.

"to make his shorter, kian we have a stepsister." i said. "what?" he said. "dad had a kid with another lady while dating mom." i sighed.

"your lying." he said. i shook my head and played with kians ring on his finger. "we wont have to see her right?" he said. i nodded.

"anyways lets talk about something else." i said. "oka—"kian was cut off by everyone coming in. kian had an big smile on his face to see everyone here especially mom.

mom quickly ran to kian and hugged him and kissed his cheek. "baby thank god you okay" she said.

i hopped off the bed so everyone can talk to kian.i go to jack to see him smiling. "tell kian ill be back im going home to take a shower i really stink." i said.

"okay babe" jack said. i left and walked to my car. i start driving home. once i got home i took a shower and changed quickly.

i did light makeup and put my hair in a bun. i didn't want to go back yet, i was a little exhausted. so i put on my to wake me up in hour. then i put my phone on do not disturb bc i wont end up sleeping.

i fell asleep within seconds.
