Adopted By A Summer High

Chapter 1

Luna's POV
Today was just a normal day, laying in bed and going on these things called social media. Although the wifi did suck in the orphanage. Yes, I know what you're thinking, "How are you even able to use the internet?". Well the answer is that I'm the carers 'favorite' child. I'm not like those typical girls you read about in fanfiction though. In actuality I am always trying to protect the others from the carer because she abuses them so much that they pass out. It pains me every time I can't help, because I feel like it's my fault they end up like that.
Okay, back to looking through social media. I was searching my Twitter timeline to see if any members of 5 Seconds Of Summer or A Summer High tweeted anything. The first thing I see is a picture of Luke Hemmings and at first I think it's Jack but soon realize it's not. I scroll down a little bit more and see that Luke Oxendale posted a tweet and I instantly go into crazy fangirl mode
The tweet reads "hey ASHers we are adopted a child to keep us company while we write and record! We are going to be adopting at Sunshine Care Home, so excited"(a/n Luke is 19,so he can legally adopt)
So, the reason I'm so happy is because I live at Sunshine Care Home. I love them and all but I don't wanna be adopted by them. You may be wondering why, so I'll tell you. Well, I want one of the other kids to get adopted so they can escape the witch and they don't have to get abused anymore. Honestly just meeting them and having a conversation with them would be enough for me.
Once I calmed down I decided I should do something productive and helpful, so I go downstairs and see the worst thing anyone could see. I see Miss.Sunshine(wow that name does not fit her) beating Ally, to know how truly terrible this is Ally is only 6 months old.

"Miss. Sunshine, why are you hurting Ally?!" I say, no I holler

"Oh, Luna. This little brat wouldn't stop crying, she deserves it" She says sweetly to me. I'm pretty sure there's steam coming out of my ears right now.

"Well, did you feed her and no one, and I mean no one deserves this treatment, especially the kids here. All of them have gone through so much and you're putting them through either the same thing or something even worse" I say and break down right when I finish speaking.

"No, she doesn't deserve to eat! Oh, come here honey" she says and grabs me in her cold grimy unwelcoming arms. I try to pull away and she doesn't let me for a while but I finally break free, grab Ally, and rush to my room making sure Ally doesn't get hurt anymore than she already has. I go to the bathroom and get all the first aid items I need and go back to Ally who I put on my bed.
After I clean Ally up I go back downstairs to get something to eat and find some apple sauce for Ally and ramen noodles for myself. I look at the clock and it's already 11pm, lights out. I run back to my room and start eating my ramen as well as feeding Ally. We both finish and fall asleep cuddling. Why can't Miss.Sunshine be nice and like a ray of sunshine instead of an evil, cruel witch, I think as I drift of to sleep.

Hello! Here's an actual chapter, sorry it's so short but idk. It's terrible, I know, but I tried. Anyway how do you guys fell about Luna or the Miss.Sunshine. I honestly have no idea why I chose that name but whatever.
