Chapter 30

Luna's POV

   I've been hanging out with Payton more than anyone else today, and I can say it was pretty great. We talked about guys, what girls don't, and a bunch of other things. We were heading to Expedition Everest, and by "we" I mean just me and Payton because we ditched everyone else, oops.
"So, have you thought anymore about James's confession?" I ask genuinely curious.
"I have, and I do really like him but I don't want to ruin our friendship. It's too much to risk" she answered, than added "what about you and Noah?"
"I understand, I just hope James won't take it too hard. Oh and Noah...I don't know. I can't forgive him this quick, but if it was his medicine...I don't know " I said looking down.
"I hope he won't either, and I can't believe he would do that, I think you should wait a week at least to forgive him"
"What's with you and 'waiting a week'?"
"Don't sue me"
"I won't, it's just amusing" I told her laughing.
"Spell icup" she said in the voice while making a finger gun.
"Nope ain't gonna do it, can't make me" laughing harder than I was before.
"You're no fun!" She playfully slapped my arm.
"If I'm no fun why are you hanging out with me?" I said laughing a little bit again. This is the most I've laughed since that first night before Luke got really mad at me...NO I will not think of that now, I'm hanging out with one of my now best friends. I push negative thoughts away as Payton and I board the train. As we're setting of on our "expedition" Payton says "you know what I think I will say yes to James"
My response obviously was "OMG OTP"
"Never say that again" I heard through laughter.
"You're right I shouldn't " I say laughing as well.
   We get off the ride an I immediately text Mason to ask where they were. He answered in less than a minute saying they were in dinosaur land or something. So that is where we headed so Payton could talk to James and tell her how she felt.
   After getting lost a time or two we finally found the guys and the other girls. Payton took James aside(the rest of us basically just acted like we were watching a romance movie, Mason even pretended to be eating popcorn he's an icon)
"Hey James I have something to tell you" Payton said.
"What's up?"
"I think I will..."
