Chapter 19

*Brandon 🔥🔥 * BTW I'm really sorry guys. I have PRE-AP Eng and Math so I have to work XTRA hard.. but I'll try to update over this weekend!! I might not update for a while after that but SCHOOL IS STRESSFUL!! especially since it's that TIME (if ya know what i mean)*

Samantha POV

"uh-uh-mm-I" My mouth couldn't work. I thought i wanted to say "yes" but i guess not?

Spencer's cheeks were flaming red and he looked around awkwardly, knowing I wasn't going to say yes. He started waving his hands back and forth.

"Just forget it okay" He said quickly. He tried laughing it off, but I could tell he was disappointed.

"Spence-"

"Don't worry about it okay?" He said. Then he quickly waved goodbye before running off. I was at a lost for words. 

*Next Day*

I haven't seen Spencer yet today. He got off work an hour ago. Probably keeping himself distant because of last night. 

Should I just go for it? 

"But what if I'm just leading him on, and I don't like him.." I said to myself confused. I was pacing around my room.

"tsk" I hissed. My index finger hovering over Spencer's caller ID. 

I pressed Call. I held my phone to my ear. 

"Hello?" Spencer's voice came through. My voice hitched in my throat. I took a deep breathe.

"Spencer. About last night I-"

"Samantha. I don't want to talk about this right now."

"I'll go out with you!" I said quickly. I had this feeling after I said that. Like I either regretted it, or I felt like something was off. I just brushed those thoughts away. It's probably just a feeling.

Silence.

"Hello? Spence?" I asked. 

I heard Spencer laugh in the other end. 

"Why are you laughing?" I asked him.

"Are you free tonight?" He asked. I nodded my head. Then remembered he can't see me.

"uh-Yes. I'm free." 

"I'll see you at 8" He said before hanging up. I looked at my watch. 

6:46PM

I gasped. I dialed my Nadia, while running through the my house. 

"Nadia!! I need your help! I've got a date tonight in under 1 hour and 30min!" I said fast.

"Okay Sam calms calms!! I'll be there in 5."

"What about your daughter?"

"Her father has her till Next Monday. I'll see you!" She said before hanging up. 

I threw my phone on my bed and rummaged threw my closet. I took some dresses out.

"Fancy?" I said scanning them. I turned back to my closet.

"Casual?" I said taking out some jeans and T-shirts. I sighed stressed out.

"Naadddiiaaa!!" I yelled. 

"I'm here!" She said coming through the door. She had on a singlet with grey sweatpants. Her hair was a REAL messy bun. She was wearing sandals.

*30 min later* (Spongebob episode voice)

Nadia helped do my hair in some waves. Then I did my normal makeup routine but added some contour and blush.

" 'kay. So If I was Spencer where would I take a girl out?" She said thinking. Then she bolted to my closet.
