Chapter 8

I woke up in the morning and looked at my watch, it was 10:00 A.M. I closed my eyes again, Not wanting to wake up so early on Sunday. Thought i could sleep some more. But hey it was only a thought and others can't hear your thoughts, again i "thought" sarcastically.
"Let me sleep. It's a Sundayyyy. " I tried to hide my face with a pillow.
"I know, but i'm not here everyday so wake up." Shanaya said.
"Shanaya.."
"Elena wake up."
Arghh.. i sat up.
"Good morning young ladies." Dad entered our room and kissed us on the forehead.
"Morning Dad." We both said. I hugged dad from the waist. And closed my eyes. But again
"Charlie, Shanaya, Elena come downstairs breakfast is ready." Mom called all of us.
Let's just say no one wants me to sleep.
"Come on lazy girl. Get fresh and come downstairs." Dad tapped me on the shoulder.
"Fine." I stood up and went to the washroom.
I came downstairs and sat on the dinning table.
Mom smiled at me and served me my breakfast. I thanked her.
"So what's the plan for today?" Shanaya asked looking at each one of us.
I shrugged. Mom looked at Dad.
"What plan? You girls go wherever you want to go. We are here." Dad said.
"No. We all will go out. Let's go and watch some movie, then we will have dinner and after that back to home. "
Shanaya said with a huge smile.
"No i'm tired. I want to rest. You three go if you want to." Dad said while sipping his coffee.
"You two go. We will stay at home." Mom said.
"See if you won't go Mom won't go. So we all are going. No more discussions." Shanaya said and suddenly her phone rang. She looked at it, smiled and excused herself.
No one asked who that was because we don't have to. Obviously it was Asher calling her. That smile said it all. I smiled they seriously love each other. Hope i too, someday will find someone, who will make me smile like this.
Around 4'o clock we left for the mall. We did some shopping. Dad scolding us and asking us to do it fast.
After two hours we went to the movie theatre and watch a comedy movie which turned out to be a disaster, we laughed only 2-3 times rest was boring. Dad even slept while watching it. Yes it was that bad.
"I told you i didn't want to watch it." Dad scolded us.
"We didn't know it would be so bad." Shanaya spoke.
"You should have read the reviews."
Mom told us.
"Oh come on guys it was after such a long time we all came for a movie. Fine, it was a disaster. But it's ok. Now let's go for the Dinner. I'm hungry." I said and looked at daddy with my puppy dog face.
"Let's go. " Dad started walking towards our car.
Shanaya looked at me. "He never says anything to you."
"I know right. It's Elena's charm."
"Whatever." She said and started walking ahead with Mom.
Dad never says anything to me. This was also a reason that we three Blake, Shanaya and I used to fight. And that is apparently one reason that i can't handle when someone shouts at me. I just can't handle it.
We went to a nice restaurant and sat on the roof. I love having food at rooftops. The view is magnificient from here specially at night.
"So Chinese, Italian or. " We didn't let Daddy complete.
"Chinese," "Italian." Shanaya and I said simultanously.
We all laughed.
At the end we ordered both. Thankfully dinner was delicious.
It was 10:00 P.M. when we returned home.
Mom and Dad were tired and went to their room And we came to ours. We changed our clothes and lied upon the bed.
"It was fun." I said.
"Thanks to me." Shanaya spoke.
"Yeah right. I'm tired." I said while yawning.
"Me too. Office tomorrow?"
"Yup."
"Cool."
"No it's not. I don't want to go."
"Take a holiday then."
"I can't."
"Why? Have to meet your prince charming?"
"Shut up and sleep Shanaya. Don't put so much stress on your knees."
"Look who is talking."
"I am. I don't go to office just to watch him but to do work and if i'll take an off he will cut my sal.. "
"Jeez i was only kidding. You. Go to sleep. Goodnight."
"Goodnight." I said.
