Chapter 47

We both went outside and settled in my car. Mason took the drivers seat.

"So where to now?" Mason asked me.
"Let's go fishing first. After that we will go to an amusement park." I said with a huge smile.

Today nothing can alter my mood. I am happy. It's been long since we two are like this. Not fighting. Not ignoring each other.

"Okay then. Let's go." He started driving.

The weather was perfect. Sun was behind the clouds. Cool breeze was blowing. I hope it rains. Wait no. It will ruin our whole planned day.

"Did you again start talking to yourself?" Mason asked me.

"Nops." I said almost too quickly. "Shit." I muttered under my breath.

Mason laughed. "I heard that too."

Mason parked the car and we went outside.

We rented the fishing chords first.
I was impressed. Mason was an expert in fishing. I did not know he was so good at it.

"Are you only gonna stand there and watch me do fishing or you wanna try it too?" Mason asked me.

"Ummm. Okay." I picked up the stick and put it in the water like they do it in the movies. I heard Mason laughing from the side.

"Why are you laughing at me?"

"Have you ever done fishing in your whole life?" I shook my head. Mason came towards me then.

"Let me teach you." Mason started telling me the techniques and was helping me but damn I was lost. We were so close that I could not help but stare at his beautiful face. Mason looked at me then and I immediately looked away and pretended as if I was actually listening to him.

Mason is a good teacher though. I learnt a few tricks from him and actually caught a few fishes.

"Mason look." I got so excited when I finally succeeded after a lot of practice. It was a small fish but I was happy and Mason clapped for me.
After that we gave those fishes to the children running around.

"I had so much fun." I told Mason with a huge smile.

"I can see that, Edwards." I looked at Mason. It was after a long time that he called me Edwards and not Elena.

"Why are you looking at me like that?" I think he did not even realize it.

"Nothing. Let's go to the amusement park." I said and started walking. Mason followed me.

Within 30 minutes we reached our location. People were all around. Friends, couples, families, everyone was roaming around.

"Let's play shooting." I said to Mason.

"As you say Madam." Mason said in a british accent.

We kept on playing it continuously until all the balloons were burst. Mason won me penguin soft toy and it was so adorable. After that we went to the rings game, then went onto enjoy swings.

I held Mason's hand and stopped him from walking. "Look. Cotton candy." Yet again I did not realize how close the two of us were. Mason kept on looking at me and neither could I take my eyes off his face.
A ball hit my foot and I looked away. A boy came and picked up his ball and ran away.

"Umm. Let's buy you some cotton candy." Mason said and started to walk and I followed him.

"Two cotton candies, please." I said to the guys selling cotton candy.
"No. Not for me."
"Why?"
"It's too damn sweet."
"Don't be stupid. It is sweet that is why it's called "candy".
"Did you get bore?" He asked me very seriously.
"No. Why?"
"Because you are fighting with me for no reason."
"Fine." I took my candy and went towards ferris wheel.
"Let's go on it." I heard Mason.
"No. I mean look there is such a big line."
"So what? We are in no hurry. Let's go."
I followed him but just a thought of going on ferris wheel was giving me shivers.
"Elena, are you okay?" He asked worried.
Mason has spent the whole day the way I wanted to spend it and I am not even doing this one thing for him.
"Nothing."
"Elena." I looked at him. "What's wrong?"
"I don't like to go on such swings. I feel nausea."
He was quite for a moment.
"Do you trust me?" He looked me in the eyes and asked me.
"Mason."
"Do you?"
I closed my eyed and nodded.
"Then come with me. I promise you will be alright especially when you will reach on the top."

It was our turn to go now. Mason took my hand and lead us. We both got settled in the seat.
The swing started to move. The speed increased and so does my nausea.
I closed my eyes. I felt Mason's hand on mine and I looked at him.
"Just look at me and forget everything else." The swing was moving but my whole focus was on Mason.
Mason looked around then. "Elena, we are at the top."
I noticed my surroundings. Where I was and realized how beautiful it all was.
The sky, it was mesmerizing. I smiled. "Beautiful." I heard Mason.
"Indeed." I said and looked at him and he was already looking at me. I don't know why but the way he was looking at me made me blush.
Our hand were intervened and none of us was breaking the eye contact. I wish this moment could last forever but obviously it can't. Just after a few seconds we started moving again and reached the bottom.

We got out. "Did you like it?" Mason asked me.
"Yes. It was amazing." We both smiled at each other.
"Weren't you busy today?" Two pair of eyes glared at us and we stopped walking.
