Frustrated was an understatement. Since coming back from Toronto, I've been a complete mess. I couldn't hold anything down, I was crying every couple of hours and the headache that I had wouldn't go away. I was supposed to be happily celebrating my birthday but I was too miserable to do so. I just wanted to curl up in bed and sleep.

I walked back from the mailbox with the results from my pregnancy test in my hand. I was afraid to open it. Before taking it, I was confident that I wasn't pregnant then out of nowhere my body did an entire 360 on me. I was sick as a dog and couldn't figure out why. I followed the blood test up with a few home tests that all came back negative so all there was left to do was wait.

I walked into the house and moped up the stairs until reaching my bed. I fell upon it and held the envelope over my face. I don't know how long I stared at it before finally ripping it open. My heart pounded ferociously in my chest. I skimmed most of the paragraphs until I got to the bottom. I quickly folded it up shoving it back into the envelope.

"I can't do it," I sighed.

As soon as I stowed it away in the nightstand, Logan burst through my door singing happy birthday. It didn't feel like my birthday at all. I mustered up the courage to smile at her twist to the original lyrics. She pounced on the bed and hugged me tightly.

"Happy birthday to you too," I giggled pushing her off of me.

She smacked her teeth sitting indian style. "You supposed to be lit already! Where the bitches and the drinks?"

I laughed. "You're the only one looking for bitches but it's some whisky downstairs,"

"What are you 50? It's some whisky downstairs," She mocked me and rolled her eyes. "Get up, we're going shopping!" She smiled. "Lingerie mansion party, courtesy of OVO"

"I'll pass. I kind of just want to chill," I lied. Lord knows I didn't want to drive to the city. Not only that, I didn't want to deal with Aubrey. He was going to hound me about the results and although I wanted to read them together, the middle of a lingerie party wasn't an appropriate time.

"It's for us," She whined. "Noah went through a lot to make it happen. How often do you get host a party in West Hollywood?"

She obviously wasn't going to let this go until I said yes. I huffed and nodded my head. "Okay but I won't stay long. I really want a minute to myself. I don't feel good,"

She grinned tugging at my arm. "I have a few ideas, I think all white or red will be sexy,"

She talked my head off about lingerie ideas. I was a little insecure since gaining weight. I wasn't sure if my body was lingerie ready. Maybe negligee but the two piecers weren't for me.

I got ready and let Logan drive to a few of her favorite spots. She did most of the shopping while I sat back. I was handed a white lace bra
with the g-string to match, a set of garters and a silk robe. My eyes widened.

"Where in the hell do you expect this to be worn?" I furrowed my eyebrows. She could not have thought, for a second, that I was walking around in this in front a bunch of random people, our brother, and his thirsty ass friends.

"Lighten up!" She scoffed. "You're 22, live a little,"

"This is not living a little. You're trying to turn me into a slut!" I quipped.
