Not Really
"She said she did see you at the meeting like you said, it just wasn't how you two met?"
"That's what I was going to tell you actually I just didn't want to bring it up at dinner we were having a good time."
"Mhm?"
"So I went out of town last week I think and me and the boys were just chillin at this one spot and she came up to me, I ran into her the next day, I didn't even remember her name but she was real hype about it but I wasn't feelin it."
"Nothing happened?"
"Nah not at all, she was just trying to be all over me the whole time it wasn't even a fun time I just bounced." I said hearing her sigh.
"You just didn't know it was the same girl till this meeting?"
"Nah I would've been told you."
"Ok ok enough about her, I believe you."
"I'm gonna go to sleep now I can hardly keep my eyes open" I said laughing tiredly. "Goodnight little girl"
"Goodnight ugly." She said hanging up the phone.
I smiled to myself knowing everything between us is pure honesty.
I have nothing to hide since we aren't together and still it's not like I'm entertaining anyone else so I'm safe.
I do think I wanna hold off on it a little since we just only had our first date and I was getting a head of myself.
Yawning, I felt my eyelids get heavy.
"Baby who's this?" She asked holding my phone in my face.
Fentfent.
"Oh I worked with her on the song remember?"
"You're still talking to her?" She asked frowning.
"No not like that princess come here." I said pulling her close to me. "It's only work related things I promise. I love you." I said kissing her forehead.
"I mean...fine whatever" she sighed, giving up the argument, making me smile.
"Stop acting like that baby you're min-" I started off saying but was interrupted by Rihanna calling.
She ended the call quickly and shrugged.
"Fuck her" she said rolling her eyes in annoyance.
"Huh?" I questioned, never hearing these words come from her mouth like that before.
Straddling my waist she said, "you don't need to go down that road again Chris." Looking at me with dark eyes.
I woke up sweating.
It's just a dream it's just a dream I told myself a few times. 3am.
