Monday
This weekend was just long as fuck, I was in a bad mood half the time and I haven't been returning Rihanna's calls on purpose.
I didn't see anyone else this weekend regarding work.
It's been in and out of the studio this whole weekend, a few meetings.
Today was the interview for Fader magazine. I know I'd see Dylan today and shit let me have some fun right?
"Hi nice to see you again Chris. This won't take too long just a quick run down of questions and we'll be out of your hair. Are you doing the photo shoot today?" Lena asked as I motioned for the both of them to come in.
"Got it done yesterday morning its already been submitted, nice to see you both as well." I smiled.
Guiding them towards the couch I figured we'd be comfortable.
"Would you like something to drink?" I asked both. "Oh no I'm fine, thank you." "I'm okay thank you." Dylan thanked, looking me up and down as she sat down herself, running her fingers over her legs as she crossed them.
"This will be recorded, no one else will hear it we just need to write down your words exactly and need to be sure of it, is that fine with you?"
I nodded my head and she set up the recorder.
20 minutes later
"What can you tell us about your upcoming album?"
"Most definitely more insight of who I am as a man today. I think everyone is really going to enjoy it."
"Can you give us a little insight of who that might be?" Dylan asked.
"I'll just say it the easiest way I can, it's more of me finding myself than anything."
Lena nodded, jotting down notes as well as Dylan did.
Questions like
"Who were some of your favorite artists growing up? Any at the moment?" "Any huge collars this album?" Were thrown around."So any special somebody in your life at the moment?"
Without thinking I started talking, "I'm just feeling everything out right now, I might already have found them I just have to keep my eyes open you never know." I laughed.
Dylan's face turned into a frown once she heard that. What?
"How was it working with Rihanna on Sledgehammer?"
"She's an amazing artist, she's a very talented soul, it went really smoothly, she's really chill so it was just a good time." I smiled reminiscing on that for a bit.
Dylan rolled her eyes causing me to laugh.
They went on to talk about upcoming events and things of that sort.
Stopping the recording, both ladies got up to thank me.
"Do you have a bottle of water?" Lena asked, I nodded and made my way to the kitchen, her following me.
Passing her the water bottle, "so that's it for today, thank you for working with us." She said, then looked back to Dylan that wasn't there. I was just going to ask her about what happened with Rob but I decided to leave it alone for now.
We made our way back to see Dylan in front of the door talking to someone.
"Are you ready Dylan?"
"Yeah lets go" she had a fake smile plastered all over her face.
I walked over to see Rihanna at the front door, she didn't move out the way for Dylan so she had to walk around her.
Her arms folded she looked upset.
Coming in the house she asked quietly, "I tried to call you."
"I got busy."
"Oh" she said looking down at her feet. I sat back down on the couch.
"How was Vegas?" I let out laugh almost in bitterness.
"Can you stop?" She asked finally looking at me.
"I'm just asking how wa-"
"Chris I didn't mean it! I told you that's not how I feel nor felt!"
"Shit you must feel that way. I'm tired of having to question all of this Robyn do you understand that?"
She sighed not knowing what to say. "Just listen to me. You said we weren't together, so fuck it, right? How you expect me to react?" I asked in a quieter voice trying to just talk to her. "You made it seem like it was a joke, like I was a joke."
"I only said it because Melissa was there and" "now you're only saying it because your friends are around? Like you cant tell them-"
"Chris I told her how much I like you and about the date and how you're really nice to me I did tell her! But she brought up the topic and I said you know I'm with Chris and she said it doesn't matter we can still talk about it because we were only talking about it and I agreed. I didn't mean it as I didn't care about you I meant it like okay we're not together so this wouldn't bother him I guess, I don't know Chris but I'm sorry, I am. I want to be with you." She said rambling on, talking with her hands trying to get me to understand the best way she could.
"You told her we were together?" I questioned.
"What? No?"
"You just said she brought it up and you said you're with Chris, I heard you." I laughed a tiny bit.
"No fuck I meant like I just got done telling her all about you like we're talking."
"I bet you did." I joked.
"Whatever. But Chris I do want to be with you. Whenever you're ready. I don't want you to question it."
She was waiting on me the whole time?
I pulled her close and kissed her as soon as I got my hands on her. She tilted her head and tugged on her bottom lip until she pulled it away and moved her tongue inside my mouth.
"We're good I promise." I said kissing her cheek and coming right back to her lips.
"Oh and Dylan was here because of the interview I would never do that to you." Clearing it up as if Dylan's a real life villain.
"I know you told me already" she laughed. "Vegas was a success and Aubrey was with lines and lines of girls the whole time so you don't have to worry about him. He ugly too."
"Huh?" I asked wondering where this was coming from.
"Nothing come here baby." She said grabbing me again, kissing me sweetly.
