Two Months Later
After these two months both Robyn and I haven't gotten much closer. No that's a lie.
We haven't seen each other as much due to flying out of town/state/country for business. It was just a busy time for both of us.
We haven't let anything go yet. I talked to Karrueche not too long ago but it was innocent.
How do I put it into words?
We haven't stopped talking, we also haven't made it go further between us so I don't feel like anything has change.
Well besides my feelings for her. Of course they've grown but there's still a part of me telling myself to just know what I'm doing and the only way to keep the safe route is to have no route.
So yes my doubts are still there despite how things are actually going, which is pretty good.
Robyn is coming over tonight for dinner, she's been back in LA for a week now but we haven't gotten around to meet up.
And tonight will finally be our second date.
We're just doing our version of everything we think is right for this to work.
7pm
"Ooh early this time." I teased, opening the door for her. "I actually just started on the food though."
"I told you it was a mistake!"
"I know I know, I'm playing with you." I pulled her in for a small hug, and kissed her cheek, "I missed you."
Letting go of the hug she said "I know." And I threw her a confused face. "I missed you too Chris." She said giving me a cute smile.
"It smells really good in here, what are you making?"
"It's a surprise." I said even though she was about to see it since we are headed to the kitchen.
"Pfft you're a great surprise keeper? What am I trying to even say?" She asked me laughing.
"Some smart shit that I do not condone so cut it out." I joke making her roll her eyes.
"Oooh some pasta! You can cook?"
"How many times you gonna ask me that? Yes I can cook. Watch." I said turning the stoves heat higher.
"Wow. Amazing. You should go to the olympics but for cooking."
"Uhm I don't know if you noticed but if you go on the food network-" I started off about the cooking competition shows.
"Shut up oh my goodness I forgot" she said laughing in embarrassment.
I shook my head, putting a lid over the pot.
"So tell me, how was Miami?"
"I had a lot of things to get done and i did but still it was a little overwhelming all of it, but It wasn't too bad I enjoyed myself." She shrugged.
"Yea of course it's going to be like that. They drown you in a million things to do as if you aren't your own boss. But I'm happy to hear you enjoyed yourself at least." I said annoyed at the fact that her mom and some of her team still do this shit.
