Clarke's POV:
"Mum you have to talk some sense in to him!" I cry desperately, gesturing to Kane furiously.
I am walking with my mum at the back of the herd of Arkers who are being lead back to our camp, Jasper and Harper in the lead.
Kane is back here also with Bellamy in tow, a little ahead of us.
"Clarke i have told you" she says in a low, collected voice. "That boy is dangerous and i am not the chancellor, Kane is doing what's best"
I let out a groan of frustration, pulling at my hair. "Dont you understand? He isn't dangerous! Kane cant just waltz into our camp and throw anyone he deems dangerous into a cell!"
My mum says nothing so yet again i let out a groan, verging on a scream, my teeth gritted and my fists clenched and shaking.
I look at Bellamy who is being tugged alongside Kane just in front of me.
"Its all so beautiful..." i hear my mum exclaim but i ignore her.
I wont let them lock Bellamy up! Its so unfair! He never killed anyone, some of the 100 are actual murders and i would even vouch for some of them. Not all... but some.
the point stands. I would be dead without Bellamy and i...well i dont really now what i feel for him...i cant possibly- no thats silly. I couldnt....
I stare at the back of Bellamy's head, his messy brown hair that i wish my fingers were tangled with right now. I look down at the handcuffs digging into his wrists and want to prize them off.
He walks silently, his frame stiff and strong and i feel a surge of admiration towards him for his composure. Kane can't do this!
I fret with my emotions some more as we walk at an agonisingly slow pace! I cant even think about the details of what will have to happen now the Arkers are here, i need to find a way to show Kane that Bellamy is not who he used to be!
"What...what will Kane do to my people if he thinks they're...dangerous?" I ask my mum slowly after some time.
"Your people? Oh Clarke i know you have stepped up as a leader to these delinquents and im so proud of you! If your father could see you..." she says softly and i shake my head.
"Yes and i couldnt have kept any of them alive without Bellamy, i need him-we all need him!" I say quickly, anger bubbling inside me.
"Did it ever cross your mind that he was using you? So he could get to a superior role in order to control the delinquents-"
"Stop calling them that!" I cry in frustration, raising my voice now and Bellamy looks back ever so slightly. My mum huffs indignantly.
"Clarke that is enough! You are just a child, you couldnt understand! Now Kane is here you dont have to suffer under the pressure of being in charge!" She says adamently, her voice darkening.
"But-"
"Clarke! Enough!" She snaps, her tone angry for the first time on the ground and i begrudgingly fall into silence again. I just cant win...
The rest of the day passes in a blur of frutration, arguments and outrage from the 100.
Kane and his guards rally up all the 100 and send off a group to search the area as some were missing from camp.
Arkers have already set to destroying our wall and any trees in their way in order to expand and make room.
The people from the ark who had been carrying supplies, food, tents and blankets etc. Began setting up which caused a riff between them and the group trying to clear out and build.
Our camp has been plunged into complete chaos! Some people from the Ark, innocent couples and families just trying to stay out of the way, others charging about as if they own the place!
Bellamy was instantly tied up to the wall around camp when we arrived, so he couldnt 'escape' . I rush over to him now, my mum having been called away from my side by Kane.
"Oh god! Bellamy-"
"Clarke i'm fine!" He says struggling agaisnt the ropes slightly. I look behind him where his hands are still in handcuffs, his wrists red and raw.
"Stop moving! Oh god i have to get you out!" I start panicking now.
"Clarke you can't! He will hurt you and i cant let that happen!" Bellamy says seriously and tears well up in my eyes.
"He will kill you Bellamy! And everyone he thinks dangerous! God, probably just to make room, like the damn ark all over again! We could run Bellamy, get away! From all of it" i speak quickly, bringing my hands to his cheeks and he smiles sadly.
"Clarke we cant leave our people...look what Kane is doing and he hasnt been here for 24 hours yet!" Bellamy sighs and i follow his gaze to where all the 100 are stood by the dropship, seemingly being examined, identified and questioned.
"I wont watch him kill you!" I cry adamently, feeling like i am trapped in a box.
"All you have to do is close your eyes..." he says quietly, as if the words are fighting not to be spoken.
"How can you say that? I wont, i cant! I have to show Kane that you arent dangerous! Everyone will stick up for you Bellamy! The 100 know the truth about you!" I am determined now. I look at all the 100, probably being identified and assessed on their "danger level" i feel sick just thinking about it.
I see Octavia making a fuss with a guard and a few other people looking over at Bellamy in worry. If they are asked, i have full confidence they will support Bellamy!
When i look back at Bellamy, he hangs his head as if the effort of holding himself up is too much.
"Clarke...Kane knows the truth! Everyone does, he isnt making up some crime i committed...i shot someone Clarke-"
"No stop it! Dont you dare! You didnt want to, you had no choice! You are innocent Bellamy!" A tear threatens to fall as i lean closer to him.
"Clarke whatever happens...if you can't change Kane's mind, i need to tell you-"
"Stop! Stop acting like this is goodbye! I refuse to let him hurt you!" I say this with a steady voice and steely eyes, determined not to give up. But Bellamy's posture is slack, his eyes are tired from sleepless nights and he is a the figure of lost hope.
He sighs and says quietly "If we cant stop him! I have to know you heard it, just once! Even if it makes me completely selfish, i have to say it!" He shuffles as if he wants to reach out to me and he straightens up, his brown eyes looking right into mine and he says "I love you".
AN: Enough said ;) keep reading to find out if this really is goodbye...
