"Jakob and Jacques Harrison, what the hell is this!?"

"Uh oh," Cody muttered. We cautiously entered the kitchen where Hanna was looking at her two young boys in utter disappointment. Liam simply stared at something on the counter.

The twins looked at her before looking back down at their feet. Hanna slammed her fist down, which caused the boys to snap their heads up and make eye contact with their mother.

"Answer me, boys!" She barked. "What the hell is this!?"

Cody and I walked over to where Liam was standing and saw the small packet resting on the counter. The man simply shook his head and held it up to show us.

"I found this in Jack's room when I went to go look for them." He whispered.

"Is that weed?" Cody asked in astonishment. He looked at his younger brothers. "Where the hell did you guys get weed from? You're fourteen!"

"One of the kids from the high school sold it to us." Jack said quietly.

Jake nodded. "He comes around every Friday at lunchtime. We were curious. He said it wouldn't kill us."

"How much was he selling it for?" I asked.

"Twenty bucks,"

"Damn, that's a good deal." Cody grumbled.

"Better not be some cheap ass weed, though." I sighed.

Hanna continued to shake her head. "I have never in my entire existence been more disappointed in anyone! Give me your phones right now! No video games, no TV, no nothing for a month! You know what, make it two! You boys are grounded, you understand? You go to school and come straight home every day unless there's practice. If you're not home by 4:00pm with a valid excuse as to why you're late, another week is added to your punishment. Do you understand me?'

"Mum, it's just marijuana." Jack sighed.

"We didn't even smoke it. We don't know how." Jake added.

"I don't care!" Hanna roared. "The fact that you boys had it in your possession is enough! Do you understand your punishment?"

The twins nodded and walked over to Hanna, handing them their phones. They mumbled an apology before sulking away to their rooms.

Hanna huffed and placed the two iPhones on the counter and buried her face in her hands. "What did I do wrong?"

"Hanna, Jake and Jack are right." Liam ran a hand through his hair. "This is the most harmless thing I could think of that they could have in their possession. Just be grateful that that kid wasn't selling ecstasy or cocaine."

"Maybe you should lower their punishment just a bit, Ma." Cody nodded. "Maybe down to three weeks?"

"Yeah," I nodded in agreement, "I mean, they didn't smoke it, and it's not like this is a secret they've been keeping for months on end. I know it's still bad because their so young and it's not an excuse, but it's the first time of many. They're becoming teenagers and stuff like this is going to happen all the time. You can't tell me that you didn't go through this with Brant and Dean, and that you're currently not going through this with Trent, Reece, Xavier, Luca, Blake, Cody, and PJ?"

Hanna sighed. "I appreciate your words, guys, but I'm sticking with what I said. Two months, no electronics of any sort, and they come home straight after school. This isn't acceptable."

"What isn't acceptable? What happened?" Brant and Dean walked into the kitchen with Reece and Blake.

Blake eyed his twin. "There you are! Where'd you go?"
