"Hey," Reece plopped down on the floor beside my desk as I finished a paper for English, "you busy?"
"A little, just trying to finish this paper." I finished typing a sentence and gave him my attention. "Why, what's up?"
"I just thought we should hang out." He took my hand and start massaging it. "I mean, we haven't really gotten the chance to with everything going on."
"Yeah, with school and visiting Jack and being there for Cody." I sighed. "You're right. What do you wanna do?"
"Just get dressed and meet me in the backyard." Reece said as he stood. He kissed my cheek.
I raised an eyebrow. "Are we keeping secrets now?"
He smirked. "Only for this purpose."
Reece winked at me before leaving my room. I sighed and typed a couple more sentences for my paper, then headed to my washroom. I showered and put some makeup on, and decided on a black spaghetti strap dress and some flats.
I bounded down the stairs as I finished braiding my hair. Flynn hopped up from the couch the moment he saw me and grinned, wrapping his arm around my waist. "Hey, bestie."
"Hi, what's up?" I smiled.
"Nothing." He sang. I noticed he was kind of dressed up, wearing a light pink dress shirt and his beige "going out" joggers, as he liked to call them.
"Why are you dressed up?" I asked. "You're wearing your "going out" joggers."
I looked around the living room, and most of the Harrison boys were wearing nice clothes as well. "Are we going out to eat or something?"
"Nope," he said. He held out his arm for me to take. I hastily linked mine with his, and he told me to close my eyes.
I did as I was told and he led me around. Another set of hands grabbed my arm, and judging by how small they were I assumed it was Charlie.
I soon felt a breeze on my face and realized we were outside. The smell of food wafted in my nose and my stomach grumbled. Food hadn't exactly been on my mind these last few days. It was safe to say I wasn't really eating much.
"And sit here." Flynn sat me down.
"Now open your eyes!" Charlie exclaimed.
I opened my eyes, and gasped at the look of the backyard. I was sitting at a cute little round table with candles and white rose petals scattered across it. Fairy lights hung on the trees and there was a little band set up in the corner.
Reece placed a guitar on a stand before grabbing a bouquet of flowers and walking over to me. He handed me the gorgeous assortment of pink, red, and white flowers.
"Thank you." I stood up and hugged him. "What is all this for?"
"You," he said, "all for you."
My heart literally did a backflip. I was cheesing like an idiot as we sat down and PJ, Xavier, and Luca served us food.
"Three lasagna, your favourite." He smiled. "Even though you're lactose intolerant and this will fuck you up later."
"It's always worth it." I shrugged as we dug in. The rest of the brothers were so sweet, coming back and refilling our drinks, even sometimes sitting and eating with us.
When we finished, Reece took me over to the little band setup. I sat on top of a stool as he, Blake, Flynn, and Brant got themselves ready.
"If you didn't already know, I've written a lot of songs about you." Reece laughed and so did I. "I wrote this one when I first realized I liked you; way back when you first came to Dallas. Still applies to this day, this is called "Wrapped Around Your Finger"."
