AHAHAHA
I KNOW YOU GUYS ARE MAAAAAAAD
maybe cliffhangers are a cheesy way to end a story-especially one with ninety-one chapters-but this gives me so much to work with for the next book, you have no idea.
SO YES, the sequel to STTB will be released in 2020, with old and new characters, new adventures, and of course, a lot more drama.
this is the first book i've written (i guess re-written) that has tackled so many topics like suicide, mental health, drug use & abuse, etc in adolescence. i tried my absolute best to portray everything as accurate or realistically as possible, and apologize if anything came off as romanticized because that was not my intention at all with this story.
things like these DO happen in a teenager's lifetime, and i feel like it isn't talked about enough. i feel like mental health isn't represented in books as much as it should be, and maybe the way i did it wasn't perfect, but at least we're talking about it.
thank you, thank you, thank you guys so so much for sticking around during my many hiatuses, my irregular updates, and all my personal shit. you guys are seriously some of the best and most responsive readers i've ever had on a book during my six years on wattpad and i'm really grateful you guys came on this journey with me, hunter, and the harrison boys.
i love you guys endlessly-like seriously you have no idea-to the moon and fucking back.
thanks for being rad.
until next time,
-mj xx
PS: everyone's been commenting about reece's songs being 5sos songs (with the exception of that one shawn mendes song i used), and i realized i never disclosed this and it only made sense in my head, but like, i imagined reece as luke hemmings, that's why all his originals are 5sos songs.
LMAO SORRY GUYS, hope that makes sense now hehe.
PSS: FEEL FREE TO ASK ME ANY QUESTIONS AND I'LL DO MY BEST TO ANSWER THEM ALL :))
