I woke up the next morning and Megan was still in my arms. I smiled down at her. I wish we could wake up like this every morning. I just have to prove to her that nothing will go wrong if we get together. I slowly moved my arm from underneath her but she started to stir. I started to move again and she wrapped her other arm around me. I smiled.

"Dolcezza, please let me go." I said and she shook her head with her eyes still closed.

"Don't go. You so cuddly." I laughed at her broken sentences. I tried to move again and she gripped me tighter.

"Ow!" I winced and her head popped up.

"I'm sorry!" She said. I had a smirk on my face and she rolled her eyes. She laid her head back down on my chest.

"Dolcezza, I need to start getting ready." She sighed.

"Babe don't go," she cooed and I raised an eyebrow.

"Did you just call me babe?" I asked with the same smirk on my face.

"It slipped out," she said keeping her head down.

"Well, I could get used to the sound of that." I said and she looked up at me with her eyes halfway open and a small smile and then she plopped her head back down on my chest.

"If you stay here with me, I will keep saying it ... babe," she said and I smiled and shook my head.

"You are something else. I gotta get my run before our busy day." I kissed her forehead and moved my arm from underneath her. She tried to grab for me again but she missed. I smiled as she just laid there. "I will wake you up when I get back from the fitness room." I went to my closet and pulled out black shorts and a shirt.

I pulled on my clothes and I grabbed my headphones out my bag. I looked over at Megan at she was still sprawled out across the bed. I smiled and put my running shoes on. I grabbed my room key and walked out of the door.

I went down to the fitness center and ran 5 miles on the treadmill. I decided to go with a light arm workout so I wouldn't be to tired for today. After I finished, I did a cool down jog of 2 miles on the treadmill and then I went back upstairs. I pulled my room key out and I heard a familiar voice coming down the hallway. I hid behind the wall next to my door and continued to listen to the voice.

"Yes, she's my fiancé. I wanted to come and surprise her." The voice said.

"She should be happy," a thick accent said. They went to Megan's door and the hotel clerk knocked on her door. They waited for a second and there was no answer.

"Well, I can just wait in her room until she gets back." The hotel clerk looked at him weirdly and shook his head.

"I rather you wait down stairs. Just for security purposes." The clerk said. Baxter tweaked his jaw a little but nodded his head.

"That'd be fine. I will just tell her to meet me downstairs." They walked back down the hallway towards the elevator. I moved from behind the wall and opened my room door. I walked in and looked back in the peep hole to see if he came back to her room.

"Hey," Megan said and I jumped. She laughed and then stretched in the bed. "Someone's a little jumpy. Running from someone?" She asked. I looked back in the peep hole and then shook my head.

"Nope, just, thought I saw someone I knew." I said walking over to the bed. I leaned down and kissed her on the forehead. "Good morning sleepy head." She smiled.

"Good morning to you to." I went to my drawer and started pulling out clothes. "Alex." She said with a shake in her voice. I turned around and looked at her with an eyebrow raised. "I ..." she said and looked down and fiddled with her thumbs. She always did that when she got nervous.
