6. Company Party pt. 1

"Yo wake up," I heard my cousin call. I kept my eyes shut.

"Get out of my house," I said and pulled the cover over my head.

"We have to get ready. Get up Alex." I rolled over away from the voice that was waking me from my sleep. "Wake up or I will jump on you," he said and I popped my head from under the cover. I felt a tug on the cover and I was washed over with the cold air. I kept my eyes shut and laid on the bed. "Welp, you asked for it," he said and I felt him jump on top of me.

"Benjamin get off of me!" I yelled.

"Get up!" He yelled back. I pushed him off of me and rolled over. I grabbed his head and put him in the head lock.

"Why do you even try?" I asked and pinned him down.

"Okay I quit!! Let me go," he yelled.

"You shouldn't have come in here!" I kept him in the head lock until I heard someone clear their throat. I looked up and I saw my mom standing in the doorway. I let Ben go and smiled at her.

"Yeah that's right, you better had let me go." He said and smiled at my mom. "Ciao zia," he said and got off of my bed.

"I told you to wake him up, not fight him." She said as Benjamin walked past her and out the door. She shook her head and turned back to me.

"Bambino you need to get ready. The party starts in an hour. Please don't be late." She sighed and looked at her watch. I nodded.

"I know mamma. I will be there, don't worry," I said as I moved off the bed and walked over too her. "Ti amo," I spoke and kissed her forehead.

"I know now get ready! I will see you there. Don't be late or io battere il culo," she said patted my face. I laughed and nodded my head. She walked out of my room and I walked to my closet. I pulled out the navy blue Armani suit that I got last year in Paris. I went into my bathroom and turned on the shower. I hopped in really quick. I washed up and then got out.

I grabbed a towel out of the closet and dried myself off. I walked out the bathroom and grabbed a pair of Calvin Klein boxer briefs and pulled them on. I looked in my drawer for black socks but I couldn't find any. I gave up and just grabbed my batman socks because I was running out of time. I put my socks on and then put the rest of my suit on.

I grabbed my bow tie off my bed and put it in my pocket. I grabbed my dress shoes I got from Target and went to the bathroom. I quickly brushed my teeth and slicked my hair back with gel. I left the bathroom, grabbed my phone and walked out of my bedroom. I walked downstairs and grabbed my keys off the kitchen counter.

I walked out of my house and I locked the door. I got in my car and I pulled off quickly. I looked at the clock and it was 6:52. I drove quickly and got to the hotel by 7:08. I got out the car and tossed my keys to the young valet standing at the door. "Don't scratch it." I buttoned up my suit jacket and walked into the building.

I looked at the sign that had the ballroom listings on it and I found where we were going to be. "Hey, you collar is messed up." I turned around and I saw Megan standing there. She reached up and fixed my collar and my breathing stopped for a bit. She is really bold. I gotta keep it together. She leaned back and looked at me.

She had on a black dress that hugged her figure and I couldn't help but stare at her. Her hair was curly and she didn't have her glasses on. I could see her big, pretty brown eyes. Her skin looked so perfect and smooth. Her face made something stir inside me.
