I walked in the elevator and pressed the seventh floor button. I thought it was really cute how he was so worried about me. I was a little scared going back up to my apartment but I wasn't going to let him know that. He would've insisted to go with me and the more time we spend together, the harder it gets to not like him.

He has so many layers to him that is making me stay interested in him. I really want to know what's in that room of his. Does he play the guitar or was he just listening to music? The elevator doors opened and I walked over to Anna's desk.

"I'm so sorry that I made you wait this long." I said and she turned in her chair.

"It's fine girl. I needed to get some more work done." She said and stood up. We walked to the elevator and went down to the parking garage. We got in her Honda Civic and we drove to my apartment. I pulled out my phone and texted Alex when we got there.

"Do you want me to go up with you?" She asked. I smiled.

"It would make me feel better." I said and she nodded.

We got out of the car and walked into my apartment building and I saw Janet at the front desk.

"Hey honey, how have you been holding up?" She asked pushing a piece of her grey hair behind her ear.

"I'm okay. Just going up to get some stuff." I said and she nodded. Anna and I walked to the elevator and we got in. We rode up to my floor and we got off. My door still had the yellow tape on the door. I sighed as I unlocked my door and ducked under it. I'm going to have to get a security system put in here.

The windows were covered with plastic and there was still glass on the floor. They could've at least cleaned up for me. I went to the pantry in the kitchen and pulled out my broom and dust pan. I started sweeping the glass together in a big pile.

"I can do this, you go pack," she said while walking over to me. I sighed. I handed her the broom and went back to my room. The fact that someone was in here that was a stranger really freaked me out.

I walked in my room and nothing had changed from last night. My covers and sheets were still thrown from when I got out of the bed. I breathed shakily as I reminisced what I happened that night. I went to my closet and pulled my big suitcase out. I put it on my bed and started putting clothes in there from my closet.

Then I went to my dresser and grabbed my underwear and bras and put them in my suitcase too. I grabbed all my hair stuff my my bathroom and put it in a separate bag. I put all my bath stuff in that bag. It felt like I was moving.

I finished getting my stuff out of my bathroom and then continued to get my stuff from my room. I heard my door open and I jumped and turned around.

Anna was standing in the doorway looking at my room. I put my hand to my chest and sighed. She smiled softly.

"I'm sorry. Didn't mean to scare you." She said and walked in. "Need me to help?" She asked and I nodded.

"That would be nice thank you." I said and picked up my big suitcase and she grabbed my two duffel bags. My closet was almost cleared out. We walked out of my apartment but I had forgot my keys. I ran back in and grabbed them off the table next to the couch.

I looked at my mail I grabbed that day and furrowed my eyebrows.  There was a red envelope that I don't remember seeing. I grabbed it with my keys and went out of my apartment.

Anna helped me put my bags in the back of my truck and then we said our goodbyes. I got in the car and looked at the red envelope. I wanted to open it but I decided to wait until I got to Alex's place.
