We were at the movie theater and I was waiting for Mason by the food court.
He was buying the tickets for the movie, I still don't know what movie. "Hey Scarlet." I heard a female voice.
By the cash register of the food court I saw my old friend, Stephanie.
"Hey Stephanie." I greeted, walking towards her, "Long time no see." "It's been since we were 18." she chuckled.
Yeah Stephanie's a vampire too.
"What brings you here?" she questioned. "Well I think I'd come to a movie theater to watch a movie." I replied sarcastically.
"Ha. Ha. Very funny." she smile," So you here with your dad?" she asked.
I shook my head, "Dad was killed by them two years ago." She gasped,"I'm so sorry." I nodded, "I'm actually here with a friend from school.
"School?" she laughed, "You went back to that hell hole?"
"Yeah, my mom." I told her." "Do you need a cup of...fruit punch?" Stephanie questioned. She calls it that?
I chuckled, shaking my head, "Had some earlier." She nodded," So did I."
"Hey Rose, I'm here." Mason said, walking to me. I rolled my eyes, "Took you long enough." "What can I get you guys?" Stephanie questioned, winking at me at the sight of Mason.
I rolled my eyes, Mason and I ordered and soon left to watch the movie, but not without me saying goodbye to Stephanie.
Mason got us a 3D movie and as much as I love 3D glasses, they hurt my eyes.
When the movie started, I immediately realised it was Zootopia.
I really wanted to watch this movie ever since I saw the trailer with the sloths, it was hilarious.
-------
We walked out the movie theater, still laughing at the ending.
"I didn't see that coming. Flash the sloth was speeding in a car." Mason laughed out. I nodded in agreement. "I still can't believe it was the sheep who was the evil one. She seemed like an innocent pushover." I said.
"It was obvious from the start that she was evil." Mason told me.
"The lion could've been evil, he seemed evil, look how he acted in the lab." I defended. Mason rolled his eyes. "I can't believe you thought Nick was gonna kill Judy." Mason chuckled, shaking his head in disbelief.
"Whatever," I retorted, "where to now?" I asked.
"Ice cream." he replied. I nodded, "Lets's go." I said, getting in the car.
We soon arrived to a quaint little cream shop. "I use to come here when I was younger." Mason told me. "Mason!" the girl at the cash register exclaimed. "Isabella!" he greeted. "Your usual?" she questioned. He nodded and looked at me.
"Oh coconut and chocolate." I told her. "Mixed please!" I quickly added.
"No problem." she smiled at me. I don't know why but I like her. She gave us our ice cream and we walked to the park next door.
I excitedly ran over to the swings and sat down. Mason chuckled and joined me.
"So....Isabella?" I smirked. He rolled his eyes. "Don't get jealous Rose. Her dad owned the ice cream shop until he got too ill to manage it. So she took over. When I was a child, and I came here, I always saw Isabella either helping out or sitting down eating ice cream while reading , writing or doing a puzzle." he told me in one breath.
I nodded, "Cool. Is she a werewolf too?"
"Yeah." he responded. While eating our ice cream, Mason and I talked about our families and more about ourselves. I really enjoyed it. He pushed me on the swing when we were done with our ice cream.
He pushed me so hard one time that I was really high in the air and suddenly I fell out of my seat, still high in the air and fell hard on the ground.
The panic on Mason's face was extreme.
"How don't you have any broken bones or bruises?" he asked himself curiously. I actually did really injure myself, just I healed really quickly.
From then, we sat back on the swings talking.
He told me about being a werewolf and the certain rituals. He also told me about imprinting and when I asked him if he ever imprinted, he looked away from me and shook his head slowly.
I was curious but didn't ask.
Mason's phone began buzzing. "Oh ten minutes before practice, we better get going." he told me when he looked at his phone.
I nodded, getting up.
We had an extremely silent drive to school and it was uncomfortable. In and out Mason I exchanged glances at each other but didn't speak.
I hated it! We arrived to school finally.
I got out of the car hurriedly and rapidly walked into school until I relaised I didn't have my bag.
Shoot!
I turned around to bump into someone.
