A week after the incident between Mason and I, I didn't go to school.
I told my mom that I just didn't feel like going. After a long time of persuasion, well actually it was just two minutes but it felt like really long, she gave in.
I went to school the other two weeks of the month and the first week of the new month.
It's now the second week of the new month and it's my birthday tomorrow. Also the day I'm gonna be named the leader of the vampires, also a day I have to go to school.
Why does it have school on a Friday!
So I've basically been trying my best to avoid Mason. Doesn't actually work but I ignore him perfectly.
I mean, he didn't do me anything and it must be stupid to ignore him but being smart is not my answer to this situation.
Yeah I still like him and the moment he said he liked me kept replaying in my head, over and over. It's amazing yet annoying.
"Rose!" Mason approached me. "What happened out there on the field?" he panted, "I saw that. You sparkling."
We were practising our tackling, throwing and receiving, so kinda like a football game. I was about to receive when I was thrown to the ground. "What the flying fudge." I angrily muttered, slowly getting off the ground.
"Elliot! What the hell was that!" yelled an extremely angry Coach.
"I was tackling Coach." he gave a sickingly annoying smirk. "Bench!" Coach yelled at him. "W-What?" Elliot, I prefer calling him Bob, sputtered.
"You heard me. Practise that tackling on the bench, now!"
"I can't believe you're benching me." he growled, walking over to the bench. "Anymore from you and you'll be benched for the whole season." Coach told him.
Elliot shut up and sat down, muttering silently to himself.
What a baby.
I rolled me eyes. Suddenly I felt eyes on me and looked beside me, a good distance away, Mason. He was staring, jaw dropped at my arm so naturally my eyes followed his to see a part of my jersey completely ripped.
Since I didn't put cream there, it was sparkling.
"Oh shiitake mushroom." I muttered, "Elliot is ugh..such a pizza hut!"
"Hey." Mason slightly shoved me. I rolled my eyes, folding my arms.
"It's called sunscreen, ever heard of it." He pinned me on the lockers, "You and I both know that's not it." he said.
"Well if you know, why are you even asking me." I muttered.
"Tha-" Mason was interrupted by Elliot. "Oh sorry to interrupt the 'cute' moment. Actually I'm not." he wore his annoying smirk.
I shoved Mason off me with an annoyed groan and briskly walked out of the school.
~Next Day~
Since it's my 117th birthday, I dressed my best. A nice galaxy crop top and black jeans with a galaxy converse.
Of course I'm wearing my long curly red hair down on my back. I walked to the kitchen to get a refill of 'fruit punch'.
I chuckled softly.
"Happy birthday!" mom squealed from behind me, enveloping me in a hug. "Thanks mom."
"Here, Mark sent this." she told me, handing me a box.
Inside was a new pair of converse. I hate this boy but his gifts are awesome. I smiled, "Well I gotta go mom, see you later." I kissed her cheek and dashed to school.
I just love the feeling of the wind blowing in my hair.
