So this is my first book I doubt it will do very well but why not give this a go
In my hand is a piece of evidence that will change mine and James' life forever but I still don't know whether I can bare to tell him over the phone
Thousands of questions float around my head
"Should I keep it?"
"Will James stay with me?"
"How do I tell him?"
"What's going to happen now?"
That's when I hear the knock on the door. I look down at my watch and realise I've been staring at the test for over half an hour
"Riley are you alright?"
I hear Emily ask through the door and I realise that now is the best chance to tell her.
Slowly opening the door lock I brave myself. How am I going to make the words come out of my mouth. Opening my mouth I realise I can't tell her. Seeing the concern growing across my sister's face I begin to slowly let tears dribble down my cheeks. Emily pulls me into a tight hug
"What's wrong Riley?"
She asks and I don't have the courage to tell her through words so I just hand her the test and watch as a series of emotions pass over her face waiting for her to say something but she just stands there
Finally after what feels like a lifetime but must only be seconds she says
"You're pregnant.....?"
