"Yes"
That's when the tears begin to flood my face and I can feel my insides crumble
"Riley, what's wrong? you should by happy this is great news,"Emily asks and that's when the words begin to flood out of my mouth.
"But is it really good news? I'm here and James is on the other side of the world, I'm supposed to be running the studio, I don't have a house, James and I don't live together and now we have a child to look after, how is this good news Emily?" I begin sobbing then harder that before.
"It's all going to be alright," Emily soothes.
"I don't know how to tell him," I admit "what if he chooses to leave me and doesn't want anything to do with the baby?" That's when Emily breaks the hug and goes into my bedroom, confused I choose to follow her. When I open the door I see her on my phone. Of course she knows my password it's been James' birthday for years now.
"Hi James it's Emily," She's  ringing him I'm not ready "Riley has some news to tell you, Don't you Riley," she asks me
"Oh....uhhhh, yeah I guess"
Emily hands me the phone and I put it up to my ear
"Hi James" I whisper
"Hey Riles, what's the news?" It's now or never
"I'm pregnant." I burst out.
"Riley that's great news you're going to be the best mom ever,"
"Thanks, I guess. Is it really that great though? We're both still young you're in London and I'm running a studio, how is this going to work?"
"Don't even worry about it." Seriously Janes this is serious I mentally sigh but then pull myself back together.
"When are you coming home?" I ask hearing desperation creep into my voice
"Well it was supposed to be 3 months but I've just booked a flight for 3 hours,"
Relief floods through my mind but then I feel guilty, it's not fair for him to have to miss out on this competition
"But what about West and Eldon?" I ask him,
"Oh they'll get over it,"
"I love you"
"I love you more"
"That's impossible"
"Hmmmm will see about that"
"Bye James, see you later"
