How is this happening 6 babies? I look over to see James, his expression mirroring my feelings, shock. Further measurements are taken and I'm told that I'm 4 weeks gone and that I still have 36 to go and that there due date is 28th January. Once we leave I realise that I haven't said a word since we found out. We walked hand in hand to the car neither of us talking due to the shear terror of the thought of 6 children. Once we had finally set of home James spoke up "Well I wonder how that happened?" he asked, I looked up at him and half laughed "I'm just to irresistible I guess,"
"You're right about something there, Riles" he laughs and I feel a huge weight being lifted off my shoulders knowing that I'm not going through this alone and that I will have someone to support me through all of this. I still don't really know what we are going to do but I know that we will do it together and these 6 children will have the best start in life because they both have a Mommy and Daddy who love them.
On the way back to my house we stop off at James' house to tell his parents about the babies, even though we told my parents first Debra and John will be the first to know that there's not only 1 but 6. We pull up outside the house and walk up the drive. My nerves swirl around my body and my heart begins to hammer again, but I know that there is no way out of what we're about to do. James' hand reaches up to the knocker and hits the door with it, I then hear the door unlock to see Debra and John. "Well fancy seeing you 2 here." Debra says whilst she ushers us into the house. She offers the two of us a drink and tells us to sit down. That's when she begins to ask James about why he isn't in London with West and Eldon and that's when I know that we need to tell them sooner rather that later. "Ermmmm, Mom, I, well, ummmmmmm" James begins but I cut him off "What James is trying to say is that I'm pregnant."
Silence, the worst response no anger or joy just shock. I sit there beginning to feel extremely uncomfortable when John pipes up from the corner of the small living room "Well congratulations"
"uhhhh thanks, I guess" James responds "but there's kind of more to it than that....."
