Too Cute

I wake up and feel so sick, ughhhh, I forgot just how horrible morning sickness is, especially when you've been up all nigh feeding five other babies. As I'm bent over the toilet I feel James' steady hand rubbing my back, trying to calm me down and make this whole ordeal slightly more bearable. After I've emptied the contents of my stomach I hear Isaac crying from the boys bedroom and know that the chance of getting anymore sleep has just flown out of the window. I walk into the boys room and walk over to his cot and tickle his stomach, making him giggle but also waking up Josh and Dom "James, can you give me a hand, all three of the boys of woke up and I can only carry two of them," I shout, but not loud enough to wake the girls up "sure, one sec," James shouts back matching my volume.

Once I've fed and dressed all of the kids and have had breakfast we all leave to the studio. It's hard trying to run the studio with five nearly six month old babies, but we manage, since I fell pregnant James and I share the studio owner job because I can't do it by myself, James is still apart of his band, but doesn't go to practice loads because of the kids but he makes it work. We pull up outside of James' parents' house because we give Piper a lift to the studio most days, when we arrive I know we have to tell everybody about the triplets but I intend to just say it as we leave the house because I can't really be bothered with the questions. "Do you want me to grab Piper and tell them about the triplets and you just stay here?" James asks, it's like he can read my mind "If you don't mind," I reply sheepishly as he leaves the car. A few minutes later he reappears with Piper and comes back into the car whilst Piper gets in the back of the car with the babies, "Are you really having another three kids?" Piper asks me "Yup," I reply trying not to sound as scarred as I feel "Wow, that's a lot of children," she tells me, like I didn't already know, I love Piper but she does have a tendency to state the obvious I just nod.

After only a couple of minutes we arrive at the studio and I begin to unload all the car seats, I carry Amelia and Isaac, James carries Dom and Josh and Piper carries Lottie, seeing them all together makes me remember that there should be six of them, it still hurts but I know I have to be strong for the others. I walk through the studio door and straight into studio A, after winning regionals a month ago, we have to prepare for nationals, and it's a lot of work, choosing two soloists, a duet, a small group and choreographing two group dances does take up a lot of time, but today I just need to focus on the duet because we are holding auditions, it's weird to think that only this time last year James and I were auditioning for the nationals duet, and now we're here auditioning for this years nationals duet.

"Okay, so now we have Noah and Richelle's duet," I call out, we've already seen Salone and LaTroy's duet and Amanda and Amy's duets they were good but I'm pretty sure that Noah and Richelle are going to get the duet, after Noah and Amanda decided that they couldn't be together because they were too different, Richelle made a move on Noah and now they're the new Jiley. They take the floor together and hero begins to play, they kill it, this duet is one of the best I think I have ever seen, I look across at James and slightly nod he nods back and I know that we've decided on our duet, the music ends and the whole of A-troupe burst into applause, waking Lottie up, I excuse myself and quickly walk into my office to try and calm her down, she doesn't fall back asleep but she does begin to calm down, just as I was sitting her on my table I felt James' hands on my back and the heard his voice "I think we have our national duet decided," he tells me "yup, they were pretty incredible, should we go and tell the rest of the team?" I ask James, "I can't see why not," he tells me as he lets go of me and heads to the door I begin to follow him before hearing Amelia crying, I just pick her up and walk into the studio with a crying baby in my arms, "Awwwwwww." the whole of A-troupe say as I walk out with her in my arms, unlike her identical twin, Lottie, Amelia loves the attention and flashes them all a cheeky yet adorable smile making everybody giggle "We've made our descion on who's going to do the duet," James begins "Noechelle, the duets yours!" I tell them, seeing their eyes light up reminds me of when James and I got the nationals duet, and then what happened after that.... "Right, later we'll run small group auditions so you can go and rehearse them," James says braking my little bubble of thought, as everybody begins to walk off in different directions I head back into the office and see that Lottie is trying to eat one of the pens on the desk "No, babe you don't eat pens," I tell her in a soft voice whilst taking it off her, then she begins to scream, teething babies are one of my favourite things.. I then go over to the baby bag and route around trying to find a teething ring that she can bite on. After I've given her a ring James walks in and begins to play with Dom and Isaac who are sat on the floor babbling away with each other, I do love my family.

After a couple of hours of doing paper work, feeding the babies and playing with them the small group auditions are about to begin. I stand in studio A, with James next to me and Dom and Josh playing at my feet "Okay, lets get these auditions started, first we'll have Amy, Piper, Cassie and Saloane, good luck," I tell A-troupe, as they all take their places on the floor the music begins and they dance pretty amazingly, I'm impressed with how far these four have came, seeing as they were all new to the studio only a few months ago, they are now some of the strongest dancers in the studio, the music ends and everybody applauses, including Josh who has just learnt how to clap, it is pretty cute. "Okay, now we have Noah, Skylar and Richelle," I tell everybody they dance incredibly but I can't help but think how Skylar kind of looks like a weak link but that might just be because of how good Richelle and Noah are. "Alright, well done you three, finally we have Amanda, Michelle and Henry." James shouts above everybody's applause. Once they finish James and I head into the office whilst the rest of A-troupe play with all the kids, they all love them. "I think that Piper, Amy, Cassie and Saloane should have the small group," I tell James "Yeah, but I think Richelle, Noah and Skylar's was really good," James suggests "Yea, but Noechelle already have the duet and Skylar was kind of a weak link," I say, "Yeah, I know what you mean, okay I agree with you, lets give it to the girls," James says, finally agreeing with me, as we walk back into studio A I see Amy playing with Amelia and Lottie whilst Noah is playing with the boys "Can I have you're attention?" I begin "We have decided on the small group," James says taking over from me "Piper, Amy, Cassie and Saloane, well done, the duets yours." I tell them all of them grin at me and James before Amy's smile drops when Lottie throws up down her arm, it is pretty funny but I have to try and keep a straight face. "Amy, do you want me t take Lottie off you?" James asks her, all she does is nod before giving her to James and heading to the toilet to clean herself up, once she's out of earshot everybody bursts into laughter, including Lottie who probably doesn't have a clue what she's laughing at but just loves to copy everybody else "Alright, guys you can all go home," I tell them once the most of the laughter has subsided. Everybody begins to go and get there stuff and head out of the door. Piper hangs back because we're giving her a lift home but everybody leaves "Do you want any help, getting the babies in the car seats?" Piper asks me "yeah, that would be a great help, give me a minute I just need to finish filling some things but get James to help you." I reply from inside my office whilst trying to alphabetically order some paperwork for nationals.

Once we get back home I collapse on the sofa, exhausted after such a long day, "James, will you get them all into bed?" I ask him as he comes into the room "sure, babe," he says, I can get him to do anything when I'm pregnant. I curl up on the sofa, intending to make dinner in a minute but slowly my brain shuts down and I'm fast asleep.
