Chapter 59- surprise!!!

My eyes slowly open and I just lie there for a few seconds before I remember, I'm going home today! I slowly stand up and get dressed out of hospital cloths and into an outfit that James brought weeks ago in case I wanted to get changed but I never really wanted to so now's the perfect opportunity to wear it. I've not told James and don't intend to, I know that he's holding trio auditions at the studio for a small competition this morning so I'm going to surprise him.

After I'm dressed I sit down on my bed and wait. It only takes a couple of minutes until I hear a knock on the door, the door opens and in walks Rachel, holding my discharge sheets, I can't believe this is actually happening.

"If you can just sign here and here." she says pointing to different points on the sheet, I nod and sign my name where I've been told to. Once I've finished I look up and she smiles

"Alright, you can go when you want but remember you have an appointment here everyday and take it easy." she says, I smile

"thank you so much for getting me out." I say, she nods and the walks over to the door and leaves. I pack up what few belongings I have before walking out. I can't wait to get to the studio and se James' face and the kids' faces they won't be expecting their Mommy at the studio. I ring a taxi and before I know it I'm getting driven to the studio.

Once we get there I walk in through the familiar corridors, I'm still walking very slow because my neck and back are pretty stiff but it's better than not walking at all. I finally arrive outside studio-A and pause for a minute, catching my breath I take one step after another until I'm behind James. Half of A-troupe has already seen but is keeping quiet so I can surprise James. I wrap my hands around his waist and kiss his neck. He jumps but instantly works out who it is

"Rilessss!!!" he says loudly, I giggle before having to unlatch myself because my back is beginning to hurt, a lot. He walks over and joins me, he wraps his arm around my waist and then begins asking questions

"How are you here, when did you get discharged, why didn't you tell me yesterday, how long have you known that you were coming home today, how much pain are you in-" I cut him off and began answering the questions

"I got a taxi here, I got discharged about half an hour ago, I found out when you had left yesterday and my back and neck are hurting because of how far I just walked." I say quickly, he nods and then kisses my forehead. I smile to myself before remembering the rest of A-troupe can see us. I pull away and then realise the kids aren't here

"James, where are the kids?" I ask him

"In the rehearsal room, J-troupe took them off me earlier because they all find them too cute." he says whilst laughing. I try to laugh but it hurts my back too much so I just sit there smiling.
