The sound of endless sobbing was nearly enough to drive me mad. Seeing Rosh sob did break my heart. Very few people realised how fragile he was. He reminded me of delicate china. Something that always had to be protected and handled with care. There was nothing we could do though. He could not leave her. This child did not deserve that treatment. So you let him in to cry. You made endless cups of tea. You mumbled words of reassurance. You kept me sane and tried your best to calm him down. Rosh stayed with us that cold night.
