Memory 83

Sometimes our foster children did the sweetest things. They were blessings and understandings. And yes, they did love you more than they loved me, but that didn't mean they hated me. You were the one that dealt with uncomfortable conversations. They ran into your arms for protection and peace, just like I did often. I loved them though, everyone was different and unique, children were resilient and adaptable to change, but you gave the safety and shelter. You were the kind of parent that celebrated every triumph and encouraged them through their disappointment.
