Memory 11

Our age-difference was not a big deal unless it came to music. It was weird but I don't think we ever noticed it until we're in an almost empty library listening to the radio. You hummed the words of an ABBA song and I sang something stupid and peppy that came after it. It hit you first at how young I was in years (and experience) in comparison to you.

You awkwardly cleared your throat. I checked out your books. You walked away and left me there. Information difficult to process and I just wanted you beside me. I could not say.
