Memory 100
Daniel Joshua Jones looks exactly like you do. He tackled me into a hug at the airport. He was everything like the little kid who admired you all those years ago. Lea had your eyes and the same tenacious yet calculating gaze you had on when you were thinking. A sketchpad was shoved into my hands by Claire, she wasn't the baby I held in my hands all those years ago but out of the three, she inherited your drawing skills. Your sister looked breathless and your dad gave me a smile. I never thought I'd have a family to go back to after you left. I was wrong and that Christmas, watching videos of our life together, the life we built up surrounded by the people we had met together, I knew you had given me a blessing even through death. You had given me the will to live and people to live with. Sure the trip to the graveyard in the snow that night was one of the most difficult nights of my life but I knew you had looked out for me even after death.
We might meet again or this was it but I am grateful to you and even though the best place you could be was by my side. I was still happy to have run this journey with you.
You and me forever. Just like our wedding vows said.
A/N: It is done! Open really cheap wine/hot chocolate. Thank you all so much for this experience. So what happens from here?
1) Still, have a couple of specials and working to release 100MoYaM on AO3 (Archive of Our Own) so you guys can download this story should you want to without author's notes. So look out for that announcement.
2) I am going on semi-hiatus until 1 December 2017. Which basically means I am online but am not writing apart from an occasional one-shot. The video above probably explains a lot of things better.
But to sum it all up. I love you all and thank you for being a part of this journey.
Dhrish xx
